My ideal team:
Professor X with Cyclops, Jean, Storm, Beast

I don't know how they can introduce Nightcrawler. In X2 they don't know him.

Ok. I've decided on my personal cast for the film.

Dylan O'Brien (Teen Wolf, 22) as Cyclops
Emma Watson (Harry Potter, 23) as Jean
Lupita Nyong'o (12 years a Slave, 31) as Storm
Robbie Kay (Once Upon a Time, 18) as Nightcrawler

I don't know the 4th actor but the first three would get my vote. If not Dylan O'Brien (who really can pass for a younger James Marsden), then a Logan Lerman type would be fine with me too.

EDIT: I just realized with a young Storm/Nightcrawler they could finally play up that love angle they hinted at in X2.

Yes! One of a few times in this entire franchise where Halle made me take notice of her Storm. More of those types of scenes (in the X-Jet with Nightcrawler) is more than welcome.

I wouldnt mind it purely because we havent had it where there is a physical fight between mutant vs mutant too much where there is a risk of killing their friends. X2 had the brief cyc vs jean thing and x3 had nobody actually fight jean. so I would kinda like to see say an OT storm or Xavier have to be attacked by younger versions... I say xavier because I have this image of x-men evolution in my head and how cool it would be to see patrick actually get involved in a fight.

Perhaps even have Rogue as a horseman which is how she gets flight and super strength as I am assuming that is the powerset people want the most on screen.

The hero vs. hero thing is too much like The Avengers and although I love that movie, I wouldn't want X-men to just copy that (and yes I am aware TA didn't invent hero vs. hero).

NO to Lupita. She's awesome but... she's 31. The movie is set in 80's, so Cyke, Storm and Jean must been in their 17-20 yrs. When I watched X3 i ever thinked that Beast was more old than Cyke, Jean and Storm. So in X-Men, if Beast is already 50 years old, Cyke, Jean and Storm are 30 years old.

I don't get this complaint about Lupita's age. She might be 31 (I can't believe I'm considered "old" now) but she certainly doesn't look it.

Emma Watson could pass as a younger Famke Janssen, so I'm okay with that.

Just color Emma's hair and she looks like young Famke.
Actor for Nightcrawler should be older, about 25.

Not to mention Alan DESPISED the makeup process. If I remember correctly, he even gave a bit of bad press over it. He certainly said there would have to be something done to accommodate him to come back.

Can't blame him on the makeup but anyway having Kurt in XMA could work just earlier I was watching XME and that show is what got me started liking the X-Men. Anyway they had him in it with Scott/Jean and the rest if they want to use him with the team it could work.

Young Angel/Crawler
and Nicholas Hoult Beast.


Hoult will be the oldest of the team,but he's still young,just not AS young.
That way it'll be close to the orignal team from the actual comics. That will be the FIRST official X-team,therefore being Charles REAL legit First Class at the mansion/school.

and I'm thinking maybe in the sequel to Apoc, the same characters return,but with an addition of kid Bobby (?) and Nightcrawler...

Also if the Brotherhood returns for Apoc or later films
