Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Chloe Bennet IS Skye

The only problem with the Sarah Garza theory is that Sarah Garza didn't exist in the Marvel Comics universe until Dec. 2013, just a few months ago. Skye predates Sarah Garza by three months. So unless you want to believe that it's an angle the writers didn't even tack on to Skye's character until just a few weeks ago, we can pretty much rule Sarah Garza out.

The Spider-Woman theory still has some legs on it, but Skye's story is increasingly pointing towards alien origins instead of spider serums. Right now, Skye's story has more in common with Kara Zor-El than Jessica Drew.

After the last episode I think Skye could end up being Abigail Brand...

I might be mistaken but I think there was something about Abigail Brand being half alien?

I'm thinking Skye is half Alien, most likely Half Eternal if Marvel really thinking about tying in the Eternals, this would be the perfect opportunity.

And Joss did create Brand, but we know next to nothing about her earlier life. If they really thinking far ahead like the other Whedon been saying, my theory/speculation would be Skye is Abigail Brand and after her little adventures with SHIELD, she would join SWORD and work her way up to Director.

Or Coulson leaves SHIELD and forms SWORD as a first line of defense from alien attack, as he becomes disillusioned with SHIELD.

im still leaning on inhuman. rather than jessica drew. but the mist is the only thing i wonder if they would change and make it this cure?

I guess it all depends on when the writers decided who it is that Skye is supposed to be. If they decided before December 2013, it's unlikely she's Garza, unless the tie in was pre planned.

Unless they retcon Spider-Woman's origin (again) to alien serum, instead of spider serum.

Yeah there's so many theories going around on this show, I love it. We have both the Coulson an Skye personal mysteries still going, inner workings of shield, the blue guy, the clairvoyant, an probably more I can't think of right now. The last 7 episodes are going to be fun.

Marvel won't bring characters recently introduced in their comics into their movies....at least not yet.

She's an Inhuman Shape Shifter
Kamala comes off as sweet, conflicted and immensely relatable. She could be a Latina or an African American, a descendant of Chinese immigrants or a blonde Daughter of the American Revolution. Her struggles will be familiar to anyone who has tried to figure out where they belong.

Note even tho the comics character is young 16 years old...I'm sure they can age her and put her right in line with a new and apparent popular new Ms. Marvel

Ah I forgot about those two as well! Curious to see if they come back towards the end if this season or in the next season, we still have Dethlok and his ongoing story to tell as well.

I love how much this show has set up and can use to work with, many great things are on the verge of happening!

Please excuse if this has been mentioned before (only read bits and pieces of the thread) But how about Skye being Monica Chang (Avengers AI) who in the comics served as SHEILD's Chief of the AI Division? Not to mention she's ethnically Asian-American also...

Nah. That characters theme is one of isolation and cultural conflict. Depriving her of her comic book origins would make Skye an empty and meaningless copy of the Character.
I don't think its plausible.

My favorite crackpot theory so far is this:

Skye is actually: Namorita

The dude in the tube is Atlantean. -> "Skye is actually half-fishperson"

Well might be possible. Since the character is a product of bioengineering.

I'm thinking Skye is an Inhuman. The alien cadaver was Kree and her body accepted the GH-235 because of course, the Inhumans are a genetic offshoot of humans and Kree. She's probably a member of the royal family. She'll start manifesting small uses of her powers in later eps but her appearance won't change until she's eventually exposed to the Terrigen Mist.

The only reason I don't see this happening is because Marvel doesn't have the rights to Namor...so I just don't see them introducing Atlantean's without Namor.

Yeah, What did S.H.I.E.L.D. do with all of Banner's/Hulk's blood that I assume they confiscated from Sterns in Incredible Hulk?
