Yup i dont see any issues with him, now we just need to see him grow out his hair to have a long mane like look lol. How recent are those pics may i ask?

Pretty recent - recent enough that it means he'll be wearing a wig.

Actors wearing wigs is nothing new or shocking. Every main character in LOTR wore a wig.

He cant press over 100 tons either;

Better replace him then.

Compared to Portman I guess. Portman will need to pretty much point her head straight up to kiss the guy.

If she's even his main love interest. They're still supposed to be casting Sif for the movie, aren't they?

Yea he could end up with a wig/hair extensions and all that. But who knows filming isnt starting to jan/feb so he still has time to grow it out, and if he has fast growing hair who knows he could have the long hair in a month or two.

I don't think a wig is going to be needed, will it?

probably only if his hair isnt longer by filming time.

A wig or hair extensions are most likely; No offense, but even with the hair of the fastest hair growing person in the world, no way is he going to have shoulder length hair (which I wouldve thought was the minimum required length) in a month or two.

They'll probably go the same route as Universal went for Hugh Jackman in Van Helsing. One minute he had short, back and sides - the next he's doing interviews with a full mane of girly hair.

:D

Those pictures were brand new when the original post was made, if I recall correctly, and that was at the beginning of August. Can your head grow about a foot of long, flowing hair in 5 months from almost nothing? Mine can't. It's possible he may continue growing his hair out during filming and they'll switch to his real hair when it's long enough, as Brian Braddock said, but he's going to wear a wig for at least part of the movie.

I remember the days when I had long hair - it took me a year just to get it to jaw's length, let alone my shoulder. (from the top I might add - my head was a definite 'no mullet' zone).

:D

I had a mullet in middle school. I didn't actually know what a mullet was then, but that's no excuse. :o

I had one too. But then, I wanted to look just like Bono in The Unforgettable Fire days. :woot:

Ouch; I'm sure you were both able to carry it off successfully though.

:hehe:

Yeah, at the end of 1985, my mullet was history - and never came back. :yay:

Mine wasn't even a proper mullet. I wanted to let my hair grow out but my mom wouldn't let me so we compromised on keeping the top somewhat manageable (although it was still pretty long compared to the usual length of my hair now) while leaving the back to grow out. That was around the time I started getting fat too, so I looked really stupid. :D

yea for me i always go with short hair and all that. But for myself it grows pretty fast and if i dont cut it like every month it could start getting longer past my the bottom of my head. But yea i know every person is different. If he does wear a wig hopefully it will look real and good looking and not be crappy looking like say alba's sue storm hair in FF films.

I never even noticed her hair because her fake blue eyes were so distracting. :o

In 4 weeks time I need to cut my hair again it grows out so fast. So I don't know, maybe he can we'll see.

Everybody does. I've felt the need for a haircut after just 3 weeks, myself. Growing long hair takes a while, though. I've left my hair uncut for over 6 months and it barely reached my chin, and my hair was longer at the start than Hemsworth's hair is in those pictures.
