Same here; my hair was stuck for what seemed like an eternity in that 'limbo stage' between short hair and long where it looks absolutely crap nomatter what you try and do with it.

Mine started curling up at the ends, which I hated. That's ultimately why I finally decided to cut it again.

Yea that isnt fun when you are guy and its not your style lol. I like to keep mine short.

As so I; the curl thing was the final nail in the coffin of my 'long hair experiment' too. Ultimately, it looked rubbish and just didnt suit me at all.

Actually, thinking about it - the same probably applies to some actors. It's a good job that we've seen Hemsworth with long-ish hair before and so we know that he suits the 'THOR' look.

I rocked the long hair for a loooong time. The time came, though for me to cut it a couple years ago, and I couldn't be happier with the decision.

Yeah, it's very much something you can look back on and say 'been there, done that'. No matter if it looked great or it looked awful, at least you can say that you did it.

I've had my hair long before, but it's usually because I was too lazy to try and get a haircut. Unfortunately, my hair sucks for growing out long since it always tends to puff out, and I end up looking like Shaggy from Scooby Doo.

My hair grows pretty fast but not shaved head to long hair fast. I've went from jaw length hair to shoulder length or a little longer in about five months. I think the last time I went from really short hair to long hair it took me about a year to a year and a half. But now that I've shaved my head again I think my hair is to long after about three weeks.

Bro really needs to hit the gym HARD.

Squats, dips,deadlifts... compound movements and stuff himself with hamburgers, tuna, chicken and eggs.

Way too lanky for Thor.

Im sure they have a trainer working with him, but he really needs to add some weight to his frame, young Thor or not.

*cough*bodysuit*cough cough...:hehe:

Yea I commented on that in the costume thread.

Something that covers his arms and legs and can be padded a bit might be best. He still needs to hit to the weights, so his neck and chest match the mass of padded suit.

We dont want a Thor with a body mass and a pencil neck :)

Why stop at the body? Thicken the neck too. And then you'll need to increase the jawline to match the neck...........

OMG, I've just described 'Movieverse Juggernaut'!!!

So Chris, I heard about this great bulking-up program, goes like, "Squats, dips,deadlifts... compound movements and stuff yourself with hamburgers, tuna, chicken and eggs."
:woot:

Worked for me, Christian Bale,Will Smith, etc

:D

BTW "And then you'll need to increase the jawline to match the neck"

Thats what the deadlifts are for;)

Hemsworth's already about as big as Christian Bale in Batman Begins, if recent photos are any indication. He's just taller so he doesn't look as thick.

No way man, he's the biggest guy EVER!!11

I just saw this. No longer worried. :)

Well, to each his own. Hemsworth looks fine to me. You're never going to have a guy who looks exactly like the comic book Thor unless you go to people who've spent a lifetime bodybuilding. I'd much rather see a good actor who put on as much weight as he could in the time he had than a bodybuilder or wrestler who's dabbling in acting on my favorite character.

^Exactly. It reminds me of all the *****ing about Liev Schrieber in Wolverine. And his performance was about 10000000000x better than Tyler Mane's.

Looks ain't everything. And when it comes to comic book characters, there has to be compromises on the size thing sometimes.

Schrieber got away with the lack of size by wearing that sweet trench coat. There's not gonna be any hiding of Thor's lack of mass.

Yea I suppose.

But I mean the actual performance is more important to me than the look. Like Tyler Mane looked great as Sabertooth. But it was Sabertooth in name and appearance only.

Whereas Schrieber really nailed the character.

Obviously Hemsworth is gonna have to bulk up. But to expect anyone other than a wrestler or body builder to match comic book Thor physically is insanity.
