^Thank God.

ETA: I'm referring to the rumors that Lex won't be in JL. I'm sure Eisenberg is relieved too.

^And he praised that awful BvS script.

I'll bring this back for this thread.
I hope they make a Batman musical under this new banner called "Batdance: Return of the Tusi"

This Joker/Scorsese thing...I'm not even mad bout it

EDIT: Just read Scorsese is just producing. Todd Phillips directing. Never mind.

I trust you can't be mad at it, we're having fun laughing at it.

I mean if Scorsese was directing no I couldnt be mad at it. His track record is good. Especially recently. It's set in the 80s supposedly dark and gritty. On paper that sounds great. But you know
We don't need a Joker origin movie. :whatever:

We don't need anything...

We already had one.

As much as I like the sound of the line itself...yeah I really don't need or want Todd Phillips' Joker.

I had no idea who Todd Phillips was before this. Jesus Christ. :funny:

Interesting how steep the fall for Whedon was from grace. It was not long ago, 2012, that he was the untouchable geek demigod. While Nolan was, at that year, considered the face of everything wrong with comic book films. Whedon saved cbms from the regressive philosophy of Nolan and lifted it back to vitality.

Dammit, for a second there I got him mixed up with Todd Field (In the Bedroom, Little Children) and was intrigued, lol.

Oh good, another DCEU movie in production.

I don't remember Nolan ever being the face of everything wrong with CBMs.

You don't remember the anti dark and gritty sentiment? The Avengers was a victory against Nolan's seriousness. The divisive reception of Rises among fanboys supercharged the sentiment.

I remember some complaints from a very small minority.
