So there is a theory going around Abed makes a cameo in the Jeff/Shirley flashback. He's off to the side by himself, barley laughing and is the only one given a closeup, other than Jeff. I think it could be him.

Also I just found out that song is an actual song by a guy named Michael Haggins. Here it is.

It would have been funnier if it was Abed as he looks now, walking past a window very subtly like the Beetlejuice guy.

I noticed that during the first viewing...but shrugged it off.

Granted this show isn't exactly about realism per se but at the same time, if Shirley was 12 and Jeff was 10, Abed would be a toddler.

"Shouldn't you be off making well engineered cars?"
"You take that back!"

Ha, I really like this show. Way to blow a good thing NBC. :csad:

I'm not surprised this show still isn't that popular.

I went to lunch the other day with a group of people and I talked about the show and no one knew what I was talking about... :(

I hate to say it but frankly...

This show is too smart for some people. And its not that They'll never understand the subtleties and references or the randomness of the series...they just don't care for it.

They want something simple, basic and straight to the point (:cough: Whitney :cough: ) as its much easier to digest and take in than say...a show that deals with multiple timelines and or a game of Dungeons & Dragons.

...no, they don't have time for that. They just want a quick 30 minutes of cheap, disposable laughs.

Community was getting much better ratings than Whitney during it's first season and they're about even now.

I'm sure that dude has seen an increase in money.

Here's the Troy, Abed, and Annie storyline...

Put Whitney in a timeslot not behind The Office and it would do horrible. I'll be beyond annoyed if Community or Parks & Rec get cancelled for that show.

You know, as much as I love this show, I don't get why people are mad at NBC. They're not doing a Fox thing by moving the show around constantly and showing it out of order or anything. The show just plain out isn't doing well in the ratings and that's just the general public's fault who'd much rather just watch Two and a Half Men.

Oh, they think they're having fun, LostSon, but it's not lasting fun. It's fleeting fun, like a bachelor party. What we've got here is lasting fun. Okay? You think about that.

Guys don't freak out. This show will have six seasons and a movie.

I just want to see Season 4. Harmon originally had a four-season master plan to correspond with the standard four years of college. I want it completed.

so it looks like the 3.10 episode will be the holiday episode. butu arent the christmas episodes from 14-18 dec?

Wow since there's so many Community fans up in here, just thought I'd share a drawing I did (inspired by last week's episode)..

No Community and all the other NBC comedies have always been this week. It's also the midseason finale. There is no new episodes for Thursday on NBC next week. This is the last episode of Community for a while.
