First of all, you're comparing a movie shot to an off-screen shot of routh taking a break. Not exactly a fair comparison.

Based on the pictures you've given us Reeve definietly looks better. Hoever, I don't think it was a fair comparison to begin with. Once we have more movie shots of Routh, it'll be more conclusive.

(also, is that from STM? I don't think Reeve was that ripped for the first movie. On a side note, for STM they had to reshoot some of the earlier scenes because Reeve had put on so much muscle mass by the end of filming. I wonder how big Routh will be in the next few years...)

I agree, but i also agree with borkis because that's not a far comparison, comparing a movie shot and a regular off camera shot. Also, i think putting the pics side by sides shows how they are a couple of problems with the new suit as well as the old one. Neither one is perfect at the end of the day.

Based on that pic alone; Reeve, easily. Though, in other pictures the Reeve suit can look a lot worse, and the Routh suit a lot better, Reeve's was just simple the comic suit. Sure you have the granny panties, but the Routh-String sorta offsets that flaw.

Holy cow! I thought the Routh suit looked bad before, but next to Reeve it looks even worse! Routh looks like Super-Lad, Superman's junior sidekick. Reeve's physique is clearly superior. I'll take the SuperMAN grannies over the ridiculous SuperManties any day!!

I agree with you, we need more official pics of Brandon as Superman to make a better judgement. Your also right that neither suit is perfect.

I agree the Routh suit is better material, and the blue on it looks nice... The red, the chest \s/, the belt \s/, and trunks looks wack tho... But imo Reeve looks like Superman......

Based on these pictures i have to say Reeve looks better. He looks stronger and more heroic... with some very slightly different panties i'd say the look would be pretty damn perfect..
