I have to say I’m disappointed with Marvel Studios, which took my inquiry as reason to rush up a press release on the inhouse website. I guess they’ve decided to leave virtues like honesty to the Marvel characters. So short sighted.

Zemo. Oh and there are two Baron Zemo's in the comics. Heinrich (the WWII version) and Helmut (the modern one, his grandson). They could easily say that Bruhl is playing the latter.

That's the best guess.

It could also explain why Variety thinks he'll be in Dr. Strange too, they probably mixed up their Marvel barons (Marvel's press release and deadline's article say nothing about him being in Dr. Strange).

Don't know much about him but sounds like a good get. Also, that writer for Deadline sounds like a little crybaby for Marvel scooping him on their own announcement.

If he is going to feature in Doctor Strange then I'd say Mephisto. But he'll make a great Zemo or Red Skull.
