If The Wolverine can make $280 million overseas with limited spectacle and no major X-Men outside Wolverine, I can see DOFP getting to $350m+ if it becomes the event movie Fox are marketing it as.

Pretty much, all of which are a bit of an unknown quantity. I think the next big cinema release after that is Transformers which isnt until July.

The thing is over here in the UK there has hardly been any adverts, trailers for Godzilla or Edge of Tomorrow so far. Godzilla has got some good buzz I know States side but over here nobody has heard much about it, nobody I know who are casual cinema goers have even mentioned it. All trailers before films have been heavily Xmen focused.

That may of course change as we get closer to release but at the moment Xmen has a free hit it seems.

These figures seem more sound to me. Box Office Mojo's predictions especially internationally are quite beyond the predicted range. In fact, I don't see how they can predict such a figure based on current evidence. I am less optimistic and more in line with Messiah Decoy's predictions, with a $595 million WW forecast.
