Also, after the pants mandate (the way it was enforced indiscriminately was stupid though), shouldnt they establish a "tone down gore" mandate? I mean seriously, what is this blood lust? Do they want to get kids to read their comics or psychopaths?

I think it's clear now that there was no such mandate. It was just a Bleeding Cool report, after all--never confirmed. I think they got that one wrong.

It could be, but i doubt that DC would officially say that they 'd put every woman in pants even if it was true. They did do that to 80-90% of the women anyway, even Ivy for god's sake.

I hate when people say that. Nightwing isnt a batfamily name that people get when they outgrow their role as Robins or Batgirls. It is Dick's identity which he created to get away from Bruce and an identity that's right up there among the best of them. Cass taking it out of the blue would be weird if you ask me. So far the only one i can see taking it besides Dick is Damian.

I don't know, pretty much every mainstream female character who didn't have pants got pants, and even they did, it seems to me pretty much all of them got more conservative looking costumes. The only exception was Harley, as far as I could tell.

The seams didn't seem too bad on that first cover, but here, they pretty much kill the costume. And just in general it looks like a robot design. Hopefully it's a drawn a little more...not like that in the interiors.

What an ugly, ugly costume. Doesn't suit Superman at all.
