are they really going to have a Justice League without Martian Manhunter? That's just...unacceptable.
if i remember correctly he's on Stormwatch now

So as Cyborg is now suddenly on the JLA i wonder if that means he was never a member of the Titans now
I am really hoping that the costumes in the actual comics look better than they do on the cover
I'm an optimist

Tony Stark would like a word with these fellows.
Basically they look like the costumes they would use for live action film purposes.
I actually really like this roster. Sure it's redundant with Mera being on the team when Aquaman is there, and the Martian Manhunter not being there is a flat out crime, but with a roster that includes Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Barry Allen, Hal Jordan, Aquaman, Ray Palmer, Hawkman, Firestorm, and Oliver Queen, I'm not going to complain too much.
I wonder what the internet would have done when the GL switched from a magic ring to and intergalactic police force ring....
...or when the all new all different X-men were introduced
...or Barry Allen first became Flash
- focus on Superman being Alien. People should have a xenophobia towards him.
- batman's mistrust of the league. (question his friendship to Superman as being strategy over anything else)

Why should people feel mistrust towards the world's 1st hero becausehe's an alien who is wanting to help?
Batman isn't a untrusting inhuman being.![]()
reboot. anything goes! lol. Just my wish-list.
it's interesting directions for each character. Superman trying to be Human but to a public that sees him as alien, making his triumphs that much more validated; and Batman alienating those that he sees as above human, giving cause for his ability to consider every angle in a situation.
- DC just announced that they are done writing for trades:
"Another change DC is making is that they wont be writing for the trade anymore. Writers have been told to write the story they want to write and not worry about the trade collecting. If they can tell a well-paced story in 4 issues, theyve been told not to pad it to make it 6 issues. Editorial can worry about how its going to be collected. Going forward, books will be trade-collected depending on how the story fits. If a book has a 4-issue arc followed by a 3 issue arc, the trade will collect both. If its 2 4-issue arcs or 3 2-issue stories, those will get collected. As a side note, DC is looking into a new trade dress to represent the New 52 and a better spine design to call out information for fans."
Uhhh what?
Them not writing for trades anymore is one of the best things to happen through this whole relaunch.
The story no longer matters. It is all about writing for the mainstream which will pick up reading comics and then drop them when something else comes along. Forget about the people who really read them. Oh well, I am sure in the long run this will really hurt DC.
