DC Relaunching Everything? - Part 8

Well here hoping Superman has a large part in this war and I am also hoping they don't revert back to pre-flashpoint.

This week's Justice League really put the last nail in the "soft reboot" coffin. It's clear that little or nothing from the previous timeline has been retained for anyone not named Batman or Green Lantern.

I know I've said this a lot, but I really wish there had been closure the previous line before everything was wiped. Instead they just sort of misled us about how much would be changing.

Don't worry, in 5 years they'll give this DCU the same kind of sendoff when they reboot again.

Justice League 8 was also probably one of the most useless issues of the New 52 when this is supposed to be the flagship book for DC and it has yet to be it.

JLA really has been very boring hasnt it

No interest in the series whatsoever. They really need to put a better writer on that series

:csad:

I hope they don't reboot it again I like the new DCU

It was a Green Arrow story from the relaunch I actually enjoyed. So yeah, glad there's that.

Not enjoying the Green Arrow ongoing HighFivingMF?

Not really. I liked Ollie fine. I liked the old version better, but what are ya gonna do? The villains, stories, and supporting cast have been very blehhh. Glad he shed those for his tryout.

I'm not really into it either I've just found it kind of bland

I was briefly intrigued when I saw a trio of hawt blondes in skintight black outfits would be appearing in it

But after flipping through the issue and seeing that at no point did they make out with each other I decided not to buy it :o

What I want to know is... at what point did Geoff Johns go from a decent writer to a downright awful one? :o

I'll let you know when he does.

New rumor: The Three Sinners are
Pandora, The Phantom Stranger, and...
The Question

From a poster on Bleeding Cool who claims to have read the FCBD issue.

It starts out with three people being punished by the ancient wizard guys at the Rock of Eternity. The first one is sentenced to wander forever witnessing humanity's greed (Phantom Stranger). Before being judged he begged for 'His' mecry implying that God is still a part of it. The second one is a ginger who does not beg demanding truth from the wizards. He is doomed to be forgotten or something (they bold the word 'question') and they take off his face. The guy looks, acts and speaks EXACTLY like the Charlie/Vic Question. Pandora is punished for opening Pandora's box, nothing else. he cries because she feels she didn't do anything wrong.
Cyborg's Dad makes contact with Earth Two while Pandora watches from the shadows.
Pandora is then shown in the 'present' stealing Pandora's box from Steve Trevor and his group of awesome military commandos or whatever they call themselves.
Then Batman is fighting a Green Lantern who is DEFINITELY not Hal (Batman says so) some fighting happens and it leads to the four page spread, end issue.
It was a really good issue if a bit short. There are two page previews for the 'second wave' books in the back, Dial H looks awesome.

Bleeding Cool is reporting that in September, instead of #13 issues for the New 52, they will be releasing #0 issues to commemorate the one year anniversary of the New 52.

Aww snaaaaaaaaap. if [blackout] Vic Sage[/blackout] is showing up, I'm all in baby.

wtf is Hal wearing in that picture? it looks ****ing stupid. or is that even Hal? either way, it looks ****ing stupid.

edit; nevermind, I read MF's spoilers.

Rumored Wally West status from Bleeding Cool:

I just read your piece on Wally West. I work in TV and interviewed Dan Didio… afterwards I asked him about Wally and he told me that Wally is lost outside of space and time searching for his family/universe and they would be dealing with that story sometime in the future. That was in August so who knows if it will actually happen but I thought it was interesting.
