DC Relaunching Everything? - Part 9

my problem with the relaunching is we the fans dont know what is canon history and what isnt. a ploy dc is doing so as not too have to tell us that certain stories we have are wrothless now(spider-man one more day). i also dont like not knowing about what the state of certain characters relationships are at present. i have always loved the couple of dick grayson and starfire but just look at it now. we dont know what they are too each other, and the writers made starfire a ****e( sleeping with both of her male teammates night in and night out) she is so soiled now i dont know if i want them together. i mean the writers just pissed on there relationship and dont seem to care. to take a great couple and do that well i cant get onaboard with it.

No story is ever worthless though. A good story is a good story whether it's still in continuity or not and that will never change. It's not like the quality and execution of the story changes all of a sudden. BTW currently Kori fell really hard for Dick but he just kinda used her to get some fiery buns and then moved on.

I'm not much of a fan of that I prefer when they were both equally smitten with each other but we DO know what their current state is. Also Kori is far from a ****e and is more of a badass like she used to be everytime Blackfire was around but on a more regular basis. Of course I know that most of you don't read Red Hood & The Outlaws so it's understandable that you didn't know that.

Maybe once the TV show starts going Booster Gold will get a solo series again. Hopefully before though.

Did anyone see that Black Lightning and Blue Devil were getting a team-up book?

1). If Batwoman is the only DC comic book you remotely care about, what do you even buy books like Wonder Woman, Batgirl, Birds of Prey, etc. now? I mean, you're technically saying that you're buying books you don't care about at all for no expressed reason.

Oh there are other comic books i enjoy reading

But if DC cancelled them or killed off the characters it wouldn't bother me really. I'd miss them but wouldn't be upset

If DC cancelled Batwoman or killed her off I'd be heartbroken and feel so miserable

Kate Kane is the only fictional character who truly matters to me. She's my personal hero and my inspiration

I'm digging them all, JL to a lesser extent. The stories there haven't done much to grab me, but I can't say no to Lee drawing all my favorite heroes. The other books have been phenomenal, Batman Inc. being my favorite.

I did read a couple issues of Aquaman and enjoyed it, as well as Johns' and Manapul's Flash run before Flashpoint. Might be time to get back into those.

The only new book I'll be getting will be Phantom Stranger. The rest just don't interest me at all. And DC is cancelling two titles that I buy. So I'm at a net loss of books from DC with the Third Wave. Way to go

Cool, JL isn't great and it's characters can be a little annoying but the simple fact of seeing these characters together is enough to make it entertaining for me, that and Lee's drawing.

Aquaman is a bit slow but i've been liking it a lot, i recomend it. Flash is kind of difficult to get aboard if you haven't read the earlier issues.

I haven't read a Flash book before and reading the current Flash book isn't difficult to follow at all for me.

I meant reading this Flash Book in the middle, for example, starting to buy it now in issue 11, as much have happened and each storyline is very conected. I never read any flash book before and i understand what's happening, but i started in issue 1.

Since you're already in that arena, Nightwing has been fantastic. The new arc/direction started last issue so it'd be a great jumping on point.

Also, Justice League Dark. It started out a bit slow but it's gotten pretty good.

Legion of Superheroes, Stormwatch and Birds of Prey are pretty great so far too

Worlds Finest has been good despite Power Girl's awful new costume

Earth 2 has been okay not as good as Starman but better than Cry for Justice

And Demon Knights is sauce I recommend checking that series out as well

Resurrection Man is probably one of them. I'm going to miss that too same with Voodoo. At the same time I was already planning on dropping many books after September anyway so DC just made it easier for me by giving me 2 that I will no longer have to trade wait after the Fall I guess.

That series was pretty neat I thought and its a shame that its not going to last longer

Hopefully the final issue will be good and wrap things up
