Which ones are they cancelling that you've been reading hippie_hunter :(

Justice League International and Resurrection Man. I'm now playing the waiting game for Firestorm (which sounds awesome with Jurgens coming on and making Firestorm one again), Hawkman (the quality has surprisingly gone up under Liefeld over Daniel, that alone has intrigued me), I, Vampire, Blue Beetle, and Frankenstein.

I'll most likely be dropping Legion Lost.

While the quality with Hawkman has gotten up in a sense with Liefield, the material is still throwaway crap that I wouldn't miss if retconned. So I've dropped the book. And I don't want to own covers by Liefield.

I wish Hawkman went back to how Johns' run was and Gray and Palmiotti's. I don't give 2 ****s about these "mysteries about the Nth metal" ****. I was fine with what it could already do. That's why I enjoyed and anticipated greatly the Gentleman Ghost arc Daniels did briefly. That was more aligned as to what I want in a Hawkman book. I just hated the way Daniel's would write Carter's captions and how Tan would draw his freakin' eyes.

I'm really going to be missing Resurrection Man when it gets cancelled :(

I hope that Mitch is still around when it ends so he can show up elsewhere in the DCU

And I really Body Doubles show up elsewhere too I always dug Carmen and Bonnie. They be a bad ass couple

I've been enjoying it a little less with each issue. I still like it, but they kind of told us the answer to the mystery of who Mitch was before while still having Mitch himself hunting for that answer. So I find myself wishing he'd just come to terms with the fact that he used to be a morally bankrupt jerkwad and firmly commit himself to redemption for that rather than continuing to stumble around wishing he knew who he was. Also, I don't get any sense of chemistry at all between him and the reporter chick.

Personally, I find myself dropping more and mood books just to buy back issues instead.

If I have the choice between Neil Gaiman's Sandman and Resurrection Man. Yeah, RM doesn't stand a chance. :o

I really hope we find out what the heck that weird robot/alien thing was in the flashback to before Mitch had powers and how/why it gave him his abilities before the series ends

They did that at least a year ago.

A while more than a year. I remember people blaming the Green Lantern movie's reception when it had been shut down for months beforehand. I think I read on TVTropes it shut down because of an argument about whether Superman or The Flash is faster got out of hand.

They did the same thing with the comments section on their blog (DC Nation) and lost a lot of interest from people that way too.

The DC Boards were shut down permanently shortly after the New 52, I remember because I posted there sometimes.

this may be a dumb question that has been answered many times before, but I was out of hte loop for a little while, so wasn't reading anything when the old universe ended and New 52 started (I was getting married, broke, and needed to save on comics for a while), but did books get a "final issue" or did things just... stop?

They all wrapped up their stories if that's what you mean. Lex found out Clark was Superman and kind of died. Hal got expelled from the Corps for killing a Guardian. Stuff like that. But Green Lantern picked up where it left off.

I knew what went down with GL because I was able to go back and pick up every New 52 issue of GL and Batman, so I was able to figure out just by reading that what was going on beforehand. Those are still the only two New 52 series I have read at all

Except for the Bat titles which weren't affected much by the reboot thankfully

New issue of Earth 2 out this week. I'm pretty excited for that when it comes out its been an alright comic book so far :)

New Stormwatch too I'm interested to find out why Martian Manhunter will be leaving the team

...and then moments later he forgot again

Everything DID not get wrapped up. Which is one of those things that ticked me off considering just how many series' I was buying before the relaunch. A lot of the endings were just straight up anti-climatic like Booster Gold while others had the convenient THE END attached on the last page but brought no real finality.

Not that it matters at this point but they really didn't care to have people bring some real conclusions to most of the previous DCU.

I liked the way Doom Patrol just decided to break the fourth wall for their ending. That fit the wacky tone of the series I thought

That's what they said at first but then they pull all this crap with Final Crisis never having happened along with Tim's tenure as Robin, therefore negating pretty much all of what they wanted to have continue.

Has there been any actual explicit refrences to Dick having been Batman?
