DC Relaunching Everything? - Part 9

Man, why does Action Comics have to be so convoluted at times.

How exactly is it convoluted?

If Marvel didn't overprice over half their line would they be anywhere near the top 10?
Most people go by number of copies sold, I believe. So the pricing isn't really an issue on those top 10/100/300/whatever lists.

Which is why Marvel double ships every book, and has fifteen hundred one shots every month too. :o

Yeah, I wish they'd quit double-shipping so much. It makes everything feel out of whack, like some series are on fast-forward while others are languishing.

Honestly, I actually like the frequency of double-shipped books creatively; only having to wait two weeks really keeps the story fresh in my mind and constantly moving and progressing.

It's just financially, it's a pain in the balls.

Personally, I'm kinda think publishers are starting to get real into the digital publishing method of 12 pages every week for $0.99.

For example, the costume itself is a bit complex, even down to why Clark sometimes wheres it, but other times he won't. Sometimes it feels there's too much going on and it just needs to slow down.

I wonder why he does it tough? Is it the case he wants to come off as more civilianized or relatable? Also, I recall Superman hitting off of something at one point and the suit changed colors? Maybe there's something in the Superman issues that explains the engineering of the suit?

Probably.

That's why Grant Morrison is awesome. Because there's like 80 million angles to everything.

Probably. But if he wore that stuff against a Parademon or Brainiac he'd end up in nothing but a cape.

I kind of wish he'd just pick one and stick with it. It's like we're watching Superman on Casual Friday whenever he puts on the shirt and jeans now that he's got the super-spiffy alien armor.

I personally prefer the tshirt and jeans myself. :o

I prefer the pre-reboot costume, but we can't always get what we want. :oldrazz:

I'd wear that armor and strut down the street waving my ass.

Yeah, if that were possible, for me Batman would still be in a powder blue and grey suit with the oval and a yellow belt. :o

Meh, I've never really been a fan of that costume. I've always been a fan of a more armored looking Batman wearing grey and black.

That's because you're a post-modernist. :o

Clark's costume needs a codpiece

One bigger than Bruce's to give him an inferiority complex :o

Even the JLA have casual fridays :ninja:
