At CBR.

I was hoping the solicit for JMS' Wonder Woman would give a bit more information, but it's basically just the pitch given at the various cons.

The second trade for The Unwritten is out that month too.

Yay, more Welcome to Tranquility! It's about time Simone got back to it. That series is better than everything else she's written put together.

Really? I like it well enough but I'd say Secret Six is the best work of her career so far

Secret Six is good on an issue-by-issue basis, but I'm sick to death of people betraying each other on that team. It happens in every single arc. Although, to be fair, she did just buck the trend with Catman in the most recent issue. There's still plenty of page time left on this arc, though. ;)

But yeah, I'm a huge Welcome to Tranquility fan. It's like Eureka but with superheroes and, like, good. :awesome:

You cynic you ;)

I'll admit that she has used the "Betrayal" plot a few times too many but I can forgive that as the story is so entertaining. But yes, I'm hoping we won't see that again for a while as well. I'm interested to see how things are going to play out with there now being two seperate teams of the Six

I've read the first series/volume of it and I really liked it. I can't wait to see what's coming in the next one :D

Did my post from last night get deleted or something  I know I posted something in here last night. Well, anyway...

Cuba: My Revolution sounds incredibly interesting even though it's an advance solicit. I don't have much knowledge of that time or how things went down. I always like seeing this stuff from that point of view

I'll probably trade wait on JMS' Wonder Woman run and see word of mouth and the direction it goes (that pitch just kills my interest, personally). I'll wait to see what kind of status quo Superman is working post-War of the Supermen on his Superman run, too.

I wish that Booster Gold writing team were on Generation Lost (I know that's only one name difference, but that name makes all the difference). That would be awesome on so many levels

Maybe it's just my imagination, but it's like I can feel the deflation with that Power Girl solicitation :(

Everything else looks in good shape. All my Vertigo stuff and Sparta: USA looking and sounding great

I know where you're coming from. I liked how he wrote Wonder Woman in Brave and the Bold though so I'll probably buy the first issue and see what I think. But Paradise Island being destroyed is just the latest in a long line of stupid decisions DC have made with Wonder Woman :(

I'll buy it as long as it has the same mix of humour, drama and Terra being cute and adorable. But I'm not confident about the new team on the book
