Overall I give it a 7/10.

i believe its probably going to be snowing for atless 5-6 episodes or the whole season since it is set between dec-march.

Not bad, not bad this week. Lots of good banter from Spidey, but I don't know how I feel about
mutant cat-like Kraven.
Still a solid effort though, I'm so glad to have this show back.

Cool! The only reason I asked was because people haven't mentioned her yet and I was curious if she was even in it.

Ah, so it's Ultimate Kraven.

The torrent is up, same site as last week's. PM me if ya want it

I am not familiar with Ultimate Kraven. Was he a mutant?

No he initially had no powers. After his first fight with Spidey (if you want to call it a fight) he undergoes a procedure that changes his DNA. So whenever he "powers up" so to speak he transforms in a were-wolf/lion of sorts.

Flash was in the credits instead of Norman this time.
Deborah Whitman is introduced. Looks to be either black or hispanic, she didn't talk.
I was a bit taken back by the were-cat look for Kraven, but after watching the episode its grown on me, though I'm still on the fence. Though I did like how they intergrated Warren Miles into Kraven's storyline.
Fight scenes were very cool.
Loved the iced spidey web at the end.

Another amazing episode, IMO! :wow::up:
The fight scenes in the episode kicked ass, and I loved the interactions between Kraven and Calypso. The ending with the master Planne's voice was spectacular and the frozen Spidey in the sky was so awesome as well. Also, I can't wait to see more of Debra Whitman in upcoming episodes. I have a feeling we are going to get to see alot of interaction between her and Peter. I also thought the fight scenes were incredible!

Overall not a bad episode

Seems the new major boss in season 2 that's running the show is The Master Planner - Since he hired Kraven and Calypso to go after Spider-Man. I wonder what happened to The Big Man, and if this series goes to season 3 will the next crime boss be the Kingpin .

The fight sequence's in this series between Spider-Man and the super villain of the week is the strongest asset. Another awesome battle with great Quip by spidey .

Intro to Debra Whitman ... nice nod to the 90's

Miles Warren

Only two things I didn't like
1. The peter/Gwen sub-plot
2. Ultimate Kraven used

other than that good episode

I gotta say, I'm not really feeling Kraven's new look but that was one helluva smackdown. Flash's character arc seems to be setting up nicely. When the only thing he's good at has been taken away from him, it's interesting to see how this will affect his life. Some actual progressive character development is so refreshing in an animated series when it doesn't involve a character developing superpowers.

I just finished watching this, and I have to say it was a meh episode. I'm not a Kraven fan at the best of times, and this episode didn't warm me towards him. The jungle man hunting Spidey with spears and tigers has never interested me much.

And the mutant Kraven cat, or whatever he was, was lame, IMO.

The Peter/Gwen soap opera continues, but hopefully it's not going to drag out the whole season. Best bit was another Master Planner tid bit at the end.

Overall I give it 6/10. Not one of their best episodes, IMO.

Good episode.
I was never a fan of Kraven, but I can say that I liked him better in the first half of the episode. That fight was amazing!
I just hope that he will not be in 'this' form in the next episode. Maybe he will get cured or something, while remaining the strength. I really would love to see him use weapons like he did in the beginning.
Nice Miles Warren introduction, even though he had a brief cameo in last episode. I am really waiting for the Jakal in season 3!
And yes... a great use of Lizard's mutagen... even though the effect was not so great.
What can I say... the greatness has continued for another 13 episodes... let's just hope they get a season 3 order, before we light the torches and descend on Sony.

Yeah, the Jackal will be an appropriate handle for the guy cuz Warren is sly and cunning. Interesting watching his interaction with Kraven, though...

after he lost to sPidey, I wondered how the hell Calypso got that lion across customs. When I decided to put it out of my head, I was treated to a montage of Kraven walking his lion across NY on a leash. I'm pretty sure that's illegal. Seriously, New York has some ridiculous exotic pet restrictions. People can't even own Savannahs (half housecat, half serval)

Also, using a lion to track sPecific prey is unrealistic for two reasons. One, though their sense of smell is highly developed by human standards, they're not bloodhounds by any means. It's used to identify scent marks left by other predators and find generic prey and carcasses. And second, lions smell through the Jacobson's organs on the roofs of their mouths by grimacing like so...

...not by twitching their noses.
