Yeah, Felicity has more in common with Ray and Barry than with Oliver. We could take Barry out because of Iris, but Ray is a real possibility and since Routh is great in the role, they could keep him around in the CWverse.

Typical Tumblr fangirl. "The show can do no wrong, it must be the way I perceive it that is wrong."

I felt nothing at Sara's death. No anger, no sadness. I really liked that character, and I have gotten proper depressed at character deaths in other shows before. But this didn't feel earned. It just felt like a plot device to continue to force a character nobody likes down our throats. The writers messed up and their attitudes don't seem to be changing anytime soon.

They already had a Black Canary that was well established, interesting, likable and played by a good actress but they sacrificed that to create something they already had with a character that, so far, is consistently unlikable, poorly written and spottily acted. So their chances of success at regaining what they already had are not high.

Sara was not Black Canary. She was female Oliver with a bo staff.

^^^Awesome! She's in her fishnet stocking! That's a great outfit right there. Only thing is she'll need to change those high-heels for something else. No way could anyone do crime-fighting in high heels.

I hope her costume looks something like this:

And like this without the jacket:

Obviously some changes would have to be made so her cheeks aren't hanging out but its different enough from her sister's costume.

Is it from the Arrow set? Back in season one there was a line like "Remember that party when I wore those horrible fishnets?". Maybe it's a flashback, I don't think they will really give her fishnets for her costume. Sara had these patterns on her pants that reminds a fishnets and Roy has those kinda of stitches, they'll probably have something similar but not actual fishnets...

Tom Bronson shout out but I'm guessing more of a peer than Ted's son.

I wonder if seeing Dinah Laurel trying to fight crime out there was a joke on her by the producers and writers after seeing how her character was received by the public.

Call me crazy but I'm actually really interested in Laurel's journey to becoming Canary now. I like this anger that's driving her and changing her. However, I absolutely do not want to see fishnet stockings. Come on guys, let's be honest, it would look absolutely ridiculous in live action and you wouldn't be able to take her seriously.

Implying we can take her seriously now?

Me and my girlfriend were recently watcihng old episodes of Supernatural and there was one scene with Katie Cassidy there, as a full blond, that just made her look like she'd be an amazing Black Canary.

I like how they're clearly showing that this is where she will end, and I can't wait to see the rest of her journey. I just hope Katie can be convincing enough as the character.

Laurel got her ass handed to her tonight. She's got a fighter's spirit though by just wanting more. I wonder what Wildcat is going to teach her? I don't think it will involve any water bowls.

I was super-excited to see Laurel dressed up in the black jacket, blonde wig, and a ski mask. Even if her attempt to "do some good" went badly for her and was incredibly ill-advised, it was still awesome, particularly since it's been a LONG time in coming, and I cannot wait to see what happens once she's got some training under her belt thanks to working with Ted Grant.

I wonder how many rivers of tears have been cried since Lotz/Sarah's death?

I predict Laurel will be training to be BC by the mid season finale. Prepare yourselves....all this anger and aggression is a rehash of what she went through after Tommy died, yet, this time Laurel will fight back without a bottle.

Honestly, I just hope that they don't make her and Wildcat into lovers. I feel like it would not only taint the relationship that they have in the comics, but it would put a CW damper on what could potentially become/evolve into a good/great student/mentor relationship that would be strictly platonic.

I like the idea of Wildcat being troubled, like Oliver, but more willing to take on a mentee. Oliver didn't want to train Roy, so i'd like to see WC more receptive to a new student. That will cause a divide between Laurel and Oliver, which I think will be needed to further more story lines. I don't care if WC and Laurel have a sexual relationship since they will inevitably have A relationship in general. There doesn't need to be a focusing on them sleeping together if they are.

What do people think about Nyssa training Laurel beside WC........in honor of her sister's memory

She is not an hitwoman. I would prefer Grant and only Grant, but that's just me.

Honestly, Grant wouldn't be sufficient enough to take Laurel to a level that she'll need to be at within the near future.

Oliver is where he's at today because he was trained by several individuals, where I'm willing to bet that all of them were much stronger/better than Wildcat on their own as individuals.

Laurel may end up being able to fight like a military fighter at best when she's done being trained by Wildcat, but she would still be leagues away from where Sara was at.
