Cisco came to starling cause of Joe request & to see her. Even though he's not a CSI . A scientist yes he is , a forensic expert???? it's another story, just like how they tried to push that with felicity before they made her screw up with DNA thing this season when all she she does has credentials wise are as a hacker & It person & when what ever medical experience she learned is from Oliver as they stated with in this show. who's not a CSI or isn't experience in that field him self.

yet they had her doing that for some reason . which I hope after this season they never have do that again.

Anyway it just the atmosphere of the two shows, I guess.

The writers on Flash just made her seem fun which mean if some also made a story for Roy we know it would be possible instead the writers for arrow not bothering with him cause they didn't care enough at that point. . Being in another writers hands makes all the difference has other priority's the what focus on with arrow it seems.

we know the actress is capable to be fun now.

When the writers give her a script to be that way. it's always been the writing.

She looked so pretty and has a great smile which she doesn't get to show much. I think her and Cisco make the cutest couple. Their scenes together were good.

Yup, Katie/Laurel can smile. I have seen it on other shows and now The Flash. Seriously, I know Arrow is supposed to be grim and intense, but the Flash writers are making the Arrow ones look bad here. I would love to see more of happy Laurel.

Yup, Katie/Laurel can smile. I have seen it on other shows and now The Flash. Seriously, I know Arrow is supposed to be grim and intense, but the Flash writers are making the Arrow ones look bad here. I would love to see more of happy Laurel.

She used to smile a lot more in season 1, mostly when she was with Tommy. His death, along with Sara's this season, as well as all the problems with her Dad have sent her on a downwards spiral (in season 2) and on a dark path, so she wouldn't really have been in the mood to have smiled much over the last two years. Perhaps eventually she will become more positive and leave all of her troubles behind her and become more happy like she used to be.

I bet the earliest that we'll see Laurel use the device will be during next week's episode since I think the events for both shows are somewhat concurrent with each other, meaning that Laurel received her new canary cry probably around the time during the events of tonight's upcoming episode.

You can't believe how refreshing it was to watch the whole 13 Episodes of Daredevil, and not have a love interest that only exists for the drama.

I also liked that even though Daredevil was a gritty urban vigilante drama the characters were not all dark and brood all the time.

One thing I really hope for next season is that we get to see a lighter side to Oliver and Laurel. They don't need to be serious and grim all the time.

She has that spark here that's missing when she's in Arrow. I mean, we even saw her giggle. It reminds me of that spark that we saw on Felicity when she was introduced to the show. It helps too that she has chemistry with Cisco. Not the romantic kind but just that natural chemistry that makes their banter fun, believable and cute.

This reminds me of the time when she was announced as the female lead of Arrow and I was so excited because I loved her in Supernatural, Harper's Island, and Melrose Place. She had lots of personality there. And then we got what we got...

I agree. The Ruby character is almost like the Dinah character, very close so its already known Katie can do it but they just don't want her to. Which is just sad.

Arrow is not using her right at all. Yes she cries really well doesn't mean you make her cry for 1 whole season.
