Been seeing a bunch of Tik Toks about how there aren't any complaints about Ukrainian refugees like there were for Syrian ones.

Yeah, that texas cheer routine is... a lot. Crazy thing is, Disney already saw signs of issues, because they made them remove the headdresses, which, oof, adds a whole new layer racism...

The school blocking Tara Houska just shows they probably don't care.

I was locked up in Los Angeles County jail for a dui 12 years ago [I'm going on 5 years sober thanks to The Most High btw] we were waiting in c-pod when I noticed a Latino deputy grab a young black kid about 19 or 20 years old and accused him of eyeballing him. He grabbed him and took him into the dayroom where he beat the crap out of him. I noticed a Korean deputy there eating a tray of food gloating over the event The kid returned with his eyeball hanging out of his socket and he was supposed to be released, but he was too afraid to go out and get another beating. I was beyond furious. Two years later Lee Baca[yarou] was sent to prison for the beatings he sanctioned there. A year later that same korean cop and another asian deputy approached me guns drawn smirking (I had just got off the bus from school). I knew who this guy was but I refused to say anything all I could remember was the tray of food he was eating

I think he was worried I was going to snitch on him. Anyway they let me go, yet a year went buy and my neighbor next door threatened to kill me for walking on my roof. (He was white by the way). He approached me with a baseball bat and I procured a metal pipe. We had a standoff, until he put his weapon down and apologized. I realized he was only stalling, as we were having a civil conversation until that same deputy (who appeoached me earlier hands on their guns) ordered me at gun point in front of my own garage to get down on the garage floor in front of all my neighbors. It still bothers me to this day, especially seeing as I have to enjoy inflation supporting a country that doesn't like me very much. Just be a good person the best you can be, I know not everyone is a monster. Throw a brick in the crowd and the dog who gets hit first barks the loudest.

This corruption is on another level if they’re just all out attacking people who are doing nothing wrong instead of doing their job. “Eyeballing” is a thing people looking to start trouble refer to and shouldn’t be in a cop’s vocabulary. Plus the extent of the beating is seriously inhuman.

That sounds really tough @ObakeTora. Real shame you had to suffer through that and I wish you have much better luck going forward and stay safe.

Just getting on the train so can’t see the video right now.

Maybe his mom should stop going to the border to get her heroin fix then.

This was how my cousin was lynched back in the day.

TikTok confession of alleged lynching recalls history of Black trauma and white lies

In a viral TikTok video which racked up over five million “likes,” a white nurse claimed that one of her dying COVID-19 patients was haunted by a Black teenager who had been beaten, castrated, and lynched because of a racist lie she told when she was a child. In the clip, posted by user Dawn @benzosandespresso, the alleged incident took place somewhere in Louisiana in 1936.

Dawn told her more than 80,000 followers that the dying woman, “told me that when she was a teenager, she told her mother that one of the local Black boys had touched her behind the grocery store. Not only was the boy lynched, but he was beaten, and his genitals were cut off. And then the family home was burned to the ground. And she watched it all happen.”

While I am not sure this particular story is true I definitely know what the woman claimed has happened multiple times. Racists were so much worse back then and they are just itching to be that bad again now.
