I can definitely see it being popular among girls and women, kind of like the Fast Car of this generation. Unfortunately, there isn't enough "uence, uence, uence, uence" for the boys though. t:

Early Saturday admission numbers coming in for Japan, and they are definitely higher than last Saturday.

TOHO- 32,340 (last Saturday 29,121)

That's roughly an 11% increase from last Saturday.

When I first saw this picture (which was before I went to see it in the theatre), I had assumed that Hans (or the guy on the far left) was the leading man, and Kristoff was a kid. This poster is kind of misleading imo.

This just blows my mind, apparently the "Sing-a-long" version is doing very well bringing people back.

Those numbers are admissions from the TOHO theater chain in Japan, one of their biggest chains with a 20% market share. I don't think the sing-a-long version is in Japan yet

TOHO is the theater of choice used for estimates since they report early and knowing their market share it's fairly easy to extrapolate reasonably close estimates until complete numbers come in.
Some of the smaller chains also report early and they help confirm the numbers.
