Ah thanks a lot!

Anywho, back to Frozen, why is it such a great hit? I mean not that it's not an uninteresting movie but for those who have watched it, it could be just a average movie, right?

Any movie can be fantastic to one moviegoer, and average to another....its just opinion.

I think it's the first "disney" movie since the 1990s.

I like Elsa, but I am an Anna guy. She is the heart and soul of the film. I love her quirkiness and determination. Bell's performance is one of the best. Plus, freckles.

I'm on Team Elsa, but even I can't deny the quirky adorability of Anna!! :woot:

which is why I also like Rapunzel, cuz she combines qualities of both the Frozen sisters.

I think it's the first "disney" movie since the 1990s.

Disney Animation Studios has put out a movie (with mixed results, I guess) every year.

However, the last five years or so have been great. The Princess and the Frog was a good return to form, and Tangled was great. I won't stop there, though. Winnie the Pooh came out in 2011, and that might be my favorite non-Pixar Disney movie since Lion King. 2012 had Wreck It Ralph, and then 2013 had Frozen.

Disney is on a pretty kickass run, in my opinion, if you just take the actual Disney Animation Studios movies into account (which would not include stuff like Planes, which is neither Pixar nor Disney proper).

Honestly didn't find Tangled all that special, it was probably the start of Disney's new renaissance, but i frankly prefered what came before in The Princess and the Frog and what came after in Wreck it Ralph

I thought both Tangled and Wreck It Ralph were both much better than Frozen. Better characters and stronger scripts.

Wreck it Ralph was my favorite of the three.

Because families ate it up. It doesn't matter what fanboys/girls think or creepy people who have a weird fascination with fictional animated women, it was the ultimate event for families to take their kids so everybody can enjoy. The way Walt Disney always set out for his films. Little girls haven't had a princess they could look up to in a very long time and this fit that ticket. Parents were reminded of their childhood as well as grandparents.

True, i'm liking this new direction of Disney's as a whole, what should we call it? Renaissance is already taken, what about Disney Relaunch? Well, that makes it look like something different, maybe Disney Animation Resurrection?
