I was able to tolerate Sins Past at the time but not anymore.
Clone Saga lasted, what, two years? Yet the Unmasking, which JoeQ (IIRC) said he would never ever ever undo, lasted less than half a year.Brand New Day will not be changed anytime soon. Marvel are fully committted to loseing money now to make more later.

You wary about that, Wabbit? I think a few of the classics could do with a bit of spiffing up in their costumes. Electro got one in Marvel Knights a few years ago.
I want to see Ock back in his armani suits:

As for Sins Past, I ignore it. *sticks thumbs in ears* La la la.
Newsarama
And as Steve has already revealed, we’re going to begin moving hot and heavy into bringing back many of the classic Spidey villains, polished up and made to look spiffy and relevant for a new era.

Poor Gwen.Poor Norman. What did he ever do to deserve That Story?
I wouldn't mind Romita Jr. doing it as long as he doesn't give Ock that Reed Richards white lining in his hair again. I didn't like that. I'd love to see Deodato draw Doc Ock. I remember yearning for that when he was on ASM a few years ago. He was wasted in it with the s*** stories that were around then.

Do we know who is scheduled to do the art for #600?

I don't think we know any solid information on the artist for it yet. I remember that white lining thing from way back in JMS' early stories. I wasn't a big fan of it, but it didn't bug me too much either.
Deodato would be good, but I'm not sure how fast he is, or how good he would be with multiple titles, and he's already wrapped up in the Dark Avengers title.
Indeed, I remember that issue. In Sensational Spider-Man #28 back in July 2006. He also had a brief stint in the Thunderbolts, too.
Re. Art for 600.
I've heard two rumours 1) McFarlane 2) Mutiple classic artists, ala Daredevil 100.
Don't know how much truth, if any, there are to either of these.
OK did some research and...

note the title of the clip that comes up at the end.
Wow, that's cool. I remember seeing that vid somewhere before. I remember thinking that the artwork there had been for Loeb and Campbell's Spidey project that was announced like 3 years ago now, and we've heard nothing about it since [Is that even still happening?].
Didn't know that was Brevoort there. Thanks Jack!

I heard that it will be released this year, but take it with a grain of salt: it came from Wikipedia.![]()
I heard that, too. I just wonder when we will actually get more news on this.I heard it somewhere legitmate, can't remember where though.
"New Ways to Die" brought Norman back into Spider-Man's world, and you've said you're bringing back a lot of classic villains. Are there other villains you're looking forward to reviving next year?
KELLY: Oh my God. All of them.
BREVOORT: We can say who we've just talked about, if you guys want.
WAID: I'm okay with that.
SLOTT: Yeah, sure.
WACKER: Doc Ock!
SLOTT: Huge Doc Ock stuff.
BREVOORT: And also we've got a great take on The Vulture. We've got a great take on Mysterio.
F Norman. What did Gwen ever do to deserve that story?!?!?!?Poor Norman. What did he ever do to deserve That Story?
...
Oh, right.
