Yeah, you kinda missed my point there. I'm not saying Loki was a Sorcerer Supreme or that they have the same kinds of tricks, I was saying they'll probably handle "magic" in the same way as they did with them - as in, no devices or special artifacts granting them those powers, no "scientific explanations" - it's just abilities some people can be capable of and master if they open their minds to learning the ways.
Good to see the trailer. It looks strange. It's a shame that he doesn't use his natural English accent though but seems to be putting on an American one.
Seems to be ripping off Inception a bit.
That's why I said "some people can be capable of." Not all people.
Well i see your point but i just dont agree with how Marvel handled Loki. He is indeed a master sorcerer and should've been dipicted as such. Loki can do feats like Strange. I just dont like how both Loki and Thor were underpowered. Well Strange will have artifacts though. The eye of Amagatto as im sure you know. I dont know man, i feel it should be special people who can learn magic. I think and feel that they have to be mystically attuned or their is something about them where they can access mystical forces like in that movie with Nic Cage, The Sorcerer's Apprentice. If anyone can just learn magic then everyone would have powers. I dont feel that 7 billion people on the planet can just become mystics with training.
Why is it a shame? The man is from Philly, why would he have a British accent
I'm suspecting she won't have a particularly large role in the film, more of a budding love interest for Strange and maybe damsel in distress towards the finale. What I do know is her character's last name isand because of this I suspect she'sMasonUnless someone else more familiar with the comics knows of such a character.a new character created for the film, possibly inspired by the Night Nurse
hopefully, it's both.
cuz it's time to introduce full blown magic, sorcery, and mysticism into the MCU.
I really fail to see how extracting souls from bodies, traveling between dimensions, and warping reality *isn't* "magic".
Advanced science.
I swear to god, whoever wrote that line..I wanna give them a smack.

Well, if it has consistent observable effects on the physical world, it's science anyway, whatever you choose to call it. Not technology, mind you, but definitely science.
Also, it's not like magic being a unique form of science that doesn't exist irl is anything new.
