You're going to love it! I still need to see it in 3D. THAT won't be until next week thoExcited I'm finally seeing this tonight.
The issue with Idris Elba's screentime is his characters role literally makes it so he cant have that much screentime.Good to see Ejiofor coming back. He already has more screentime in this one film than Idris Elba in the two Thor movies put together.
It focuses his powers yes. Like Mjolnir is a tool for Thor that focuses his own powers, the Eye of Agamotto is the relic that focuses Strange's magic.
Edit:
Remember, Mordo says during the Training scene certain relics can focus magic that would be harmful to your own body. It's even the same with most Witches and Wizards throughout most fantasy novels and movies. A big example is Gandalf's staff and crystal
Anyone watched the Film Theorist episode talking about this movie?
There's a rhyme in this part, IYeah. It was great. Sick of the constant mention of Inception but everything else he said was very positive.
The Trump people got their hands on the Aether!Me too. I really thought people were smart enough to not vote for Trump. Where is the freaking Eye of Agamoto when you need it.
Actually you need the Inferno device.![]()
There's a rhyme in this part, Iyou for it.
I finally decided to watch the movie, and I will keep this video in mind for comparing notes.
There was a white Crystal he slipped into his staff in Fellowship. But yes the Palantir is a tool too. Each tool/relic can focus power of each spell. What crystal? If you mean the Palantir of Isengard, Gandalf was afraid to use it and Aragorn wrenched control of it from Sauron. His staff was clearly used as a powerful weapon along the lines you mention.

Does anyone feel like they wasted Benjamin Bratt? I feel like he is a big enough star to deserve more than two scenes. Really want to see more Pangborn in future movies.
15 years ago, yeah, I'd agree with youDoes anyone feel like they wasted Benjamin Bratt? I feel like he is a big enough star to deserve more than two scenes. Really want to see more Pangborn in future movies.

Say Thanos does take the Time stone out of the Eye of Agamotto, he doesn't take Strange's powers because he clearly displays using an energy whip without the Eye of Agamotto.
The Eye focuses certain magic even in the comics, it's not the SOURCE of his magic
My impression is that Mordo is stealing mystic power which parallels what happened in Strange Tales; Strange took Victoria Bentley's mystic talent in his effort to defeat Shuma Gorath. In that story, after Shuma's defeat, Strange "returned" her power. It would be a nice book end if Mordo, after traveling his dark road, found some redemption, and returned the power to Pangborn. Even if it is Strange that returns the power, I kind of think we are going to see him again.
lol I'd play that game![YT]r4RbRfjMWP8[/YT]

Yeah, I would more than likely see Pangborn returning to Kamar-Taj THEN finding StrangeIt would make sense for Pangborn to seek out Strange to find a way to reverse it also to clue Strange into what Mordo is up to.
