I actually wasn't fully serious about that post, I just didn't want to add the disclaimer because it took away from the post. You can be a real fan and think that this trash looks good, I on the other hand thinks that it looks like the same old lazy movie Fox has been making for the last decade.

To each there own... Again if people have read my posts, I've never once said this will be good, I am just not close-minded or arrogant enough to say it'll be garbage. I look at this from a logical point of view... All we've gotten are a couple of stills and a poorly edited trailer... When taken into context said stills actually look good with some minor nit-picks, supposely the first draft was half-way decent but needed some major rewrites(which it got), and it has some talented people behind it... Hmm... Sound like it could be decent, but could it also suck? Sure... But again wait and see instead of being bandwagoners

I'm not a "bandwagoner" by any strech of the imagination if I were you'd see plenty of hyperbole about how The Dark Knight is the greatest movie or comicbook movie of all time in my sig.

That comment has the obvious disclaimer toward the people who do "really: believe that.

I don't think that it's close minded to think that a movie looks awful when you hate all of the promational material, pictures and think that the actors are either misast or poor actors. I've never seen "Epic Movie" but I'm pretty damn sure that it's awful.

Fox has made a string of too short cheap looking average to bad special effects movies. That is a connection too.

I haven't seen this ridiculousness. I've seen most people make a fair asessment based on the director's past work and the things that I just mentioned.
