The Dark Knight Epitome Scene for Joker?

1. Shooting the Bazooka
2. Interrogation Room
3. The Joker Showing his Card
4. The Pencil Trick
5. Sliding on the Pile of Money
6. Dizzily Walking Out of the Flipped Truck

I'd say the interrogation room scene. Particularly when he has his "You have nothing to threaten me with. Nothing to do with all your strength" line. That was pretty chilling.

"you see, madness is like gravity. All it takes is a little...push. AHAHAHAHAHA"

Awwww basically all of mine have been said. The 2 main ones with the interrogation room and the tv threat.

I'll cast a new light on them though with remembering some of the other lines.:yay:

In the interrorgation room, Batman is desperate to know where Harvey and Rachel are, but Joker isn't interested in answering that question. He keeps winding him up so to speak, just insulting him by saying "the way you lept after her...".
Also when he's got him down and he's about to woop his ass and he keeps changing the subject "Murder is about making a choice." Then he insults Batman again with the Rachel line.

Earlier on in that scene though when Batman asks why he wants to kill him and he starts laughing and sorta jumps out of the chair, I LOVE that bit.

When he has Brian in the chair on the television, everyone tooks about LOOK AT ME! Don't get me wrong, the praise is for good reason. But I love how his threats also sound mocking too, when Brian says we don't have to be scared, and Joker replies "You really do Brian, YOU REALLY DO!"

Perfect. So perfect. I need to see it again!

the interrogation for sure batman punching him and laughing was great and the "here´s my card" and when he leaves a ****load of joker cards when the judge´s car blows up amazing just like the joker i know from the comic books.

when he's just about to knife Batman and he gets caught by Gordon. "Wouldja just gimme a minute?!"

Gold :hoboj:

Too many to name, everyone was golden. I'll pick one that probably hasn't been mentioned.

Cop - "Hey you wait like everyone else buddy"

Joker comes from behind the seat w/ shotgun - Click Click, Boom!

I was just wondering about this because I wasn't around when it was a big deal: when there were some people who didn't think The Joker said "Six" in the interrogation room, (I wasn't one of them) what did they think he actually said?

But I love how his threats also sound mocking too, when Brian says we don't have to be scared, and Joker replies "You really do Brian, YOU REALLY DO!"

That was another great one I forgot about. How about the way he says "Tell them your name."
when he leaves a ****load of joker cards when the judge´s car blows up amazing just like the joker i know from the comic books.
So he offs the judge and Loeb all while not even being around, damn! I love the way the music and scenes kept intensifying from when Bruce knocks out Harvey all leading up to Joker crashing the party.

That scene startled me he did it so fast.

Am I the only one who notices that just about every scene with the Joker has been mentioned in this thread? That goes to show that Nolan's interpretation of the Joker was pretty much spot-on, and he did an honor to the comics and the vision of the Joker.

Well, just about every seen has been mentioned so far, however, I'd just like to give a nod to two subtle moments I thought were great.

Firstly, when the Joker is holding Stephens hostage in the middle of the MCU, as the police yell at him, he gives them a confused look, strains his face and goes: "I'm sorry....what was that...what?" His mannerisms as well as...manners, lol, always bring a smile to my face.

The second is during his speech to the fairies, when we see him holding a piece of paper with notes on it. That means the Joker actually took the time to sit down with a pen and paper, and write out his threatening speech. Brilliant.

We didn't see anything even close to the comic book Joker

this is such a silly thing to say... No, he didn't LOOK exactly like he does in the comics, but the whole essence of his character is there, and that's really the main point. If you want to look at it that way, I guess you don't like any of the other characters either? Cause none of them look or have the exact same backstory as they do in the comics, but the essence of the characters are there. Did Harvey Dent have to be married to Gilda and have black hair to be perfect as Two-Face? No, he didn't. Every character in the Nolanverse works because they have been altered to fit the chosen media, if you try to make everything EXACTLY as it is in the comics, it would be a really REALLY silly movie, and boring as well, cause there would be no surprises in store for us. The comics are one medium, which I love dearly, but I'm fine with that universe staying the way it is. Frankly, most of us would probably suffer quite a let-down if they tried to make it exactly like the comics, cause; guess what? It just isn't possible. Thank god for Chris Nolan, a man who knows his craft.

I liked it where he egged on Batman to run him over and he didn't do it. This Joker showed he was intelligent and not scared to die. I haven't seen a media incarnation this good since Hamil's Joker, and those two will remain the best media Joker incarnations for a long time to come.

Are there any kind of incarnations? real-life?

1. Caesar Romero
2. Jack Nicholson
3. Mark Hamil
4. Kevin Michael Richardson
5. Heath Ledger

THESE ARE MEDIA INCARNATIONS. AS IN THE MEDIA WHICH INCLUDES TELEVISION AND MOVIES.

Next time try not to be so smart, it doesn't help you.

The top 3 scenes of Joker for me are:

1) Interrogation room - Joker displayed all his personality in this scene, going from maniac to a crazed genius and mastermind, and it shows Batman really has nothing to use against him.

2) Street - After his truck flipped over, Joker dared Batman to ram him with Batpod. His dare to Batman to hit him is quite unnerving.

3) End - Joker screaming with glee when he's falling and assumed Batman had broken his One Rule was memorable, and him telling Batman that they are "destined to do this forever" was classic. Too bad they couldn't do this forever in the sequel.

You could buy the movie and play it forever....

We didn't see anything even close to the comic book Joker

We didn't need to as TDK is an ADAPTATION not a copy. You're the kind that would rate those awful, unimaginative fanfilms and the worst written comics over an excellent film like this because they've got the 'comic book Joker' in them.

Anway the entire performance of Ledger put me in mind of the portrayal of the Joker in darker stories like THE KILLING JOKE and ARKHAM ASYLUM where the 'anarchist' persona is turned up to it's full volume.

what Nolan did is that he used joker scenes from the comics and made them work for the masses.

this was IMO 100% planned from the beginning.

the scenes that really reminded me of the comics and TAS were when Joker was broadcasting threats on the TV. He always used to do things like that in the comics, swiftly followed by a dose of joker poison to the news girl/man.

^^^very good point! I love how he called in and was immediately broadcasted on the news when the whole Reese thing was going on lol.
