The Dark Knight Epitome Scene for Joker?

yea that scene is my favourite in the whole film. it just shows that at that moment The Joker is in a world of his own, blissfully happy that yet another "plan" has come off perfectly! I also noticed that there is a theme of dogs running through the whole movie and that scene really reminds me of a dog hanging out the window, he even shakes his head around like a dog!!

Another fantastic Joker scene to me was when he was broadcasting over the TV with his hostage. The way he kept laughing but then suddenly said "LOOK AT ME!" with this incredibly sounding force and anger.

Another point, does anyone else think the Joker should have laughed more? I think so. To me, and this is a MINOR gripe, The Joker just didn't laugh as much as I thought he should have. There were a few scenes in particular were Nolan should have had Heath laughing. For example, right after he kills Gamble. He should have busted out laughing and THEN gone into his "AGGRESSIVE EXPANSION" speech.

Still, THE BEST JOKER EVER!

Yea i would of liked to see him sitting in a chair on his own, just alone in his own little world, and then a grin comes across his face, then it gets bigger then all of a sudden he just starts laughing maniacally for no reason! i think a scene like that would really show how absolutly crazy this joker is.

3. The scene where he kills gamble and than tells the other guys that there is room for "agressive expansion"

I think I should expand on this scene a bit.

- Joker shows, not only his smarts, but his tricky side, by planning to have his henchmen carry him in saying that they have the Joker and he is dead.

- He shows that he can take a life without thinking twice when he SMOKES those 2 guys standing on either side of him (right before he grabs Gambol)

- He than shows his psychotic side when he creeps the hell out of everyone and tells his scar story

- THAN he cracks a joke right before killing Gambol

- Than he just takes off the garbage bag as if nothing had happened at all lol and continues to go about his business

- Than he shows his bossy side and his funny side when he says "we have room for some agressive expansion"

- Than he shows he is crazy when he snaps the pool Q in half and tells them there is only one spot left

- Than he just walks away like nothing ever happened. As if he was done with everyone there and had other business to go take care of.

So I think I have to say this scene was pretty BANG on with The Joker's Character

i didnt notice him shoot anybody?

For me, the final speech the Joker gives Batman epitomizes not only the Joker, but Batman and Mr. J's relationship in general.

I agree.

But you know what else is a good scene that has been mentioned (but not as much as I thought it would be)

is the scene before the hospital scene

*** Joker slides down the money...burns the money...and than tells the Chechen that the city belongs to him...***

That scene is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO JOKER!!!...

The Joker always wanted to be on top of the Mob...it was always "HIS CITY" and Batman was always the one trying to fight for it back...you know?

That scene doesn't get enough credit I don't think

yea i loved that scene, i thought it was funny when he started throwing wads of cash at Laus head!! pure joker. I felt a bit sorry fo the chechan though, because he was the only one who respected the joker and maybe stuck up for him? i noticed at the mob meeting scene he was the only one who didnt laugh at joker when he seemed the most vulnerable. but i guess thats tough luck, you shouldnt try to be friends with homacidal, sociopathic clowns!!!!

Not a scene, but I think that the virals deserve some credit. Everything that the Joker "Jokerized" was amazing. I knew then that they had gotten it right. There was one pic of Batman that was Jokerized and it said something along the lines of "..he's as crazy as me!" and my heart skipped a beat. The Jokerized trailer as well (the lightsaber!). The Jokerized magazines as well. It was almost like they were keeping Heath alive for us.

hahaha EXACTLY!!!

but that shows how crazy The Joker is...it represents the comics nicely...the fact that he doesn't give a crap about anyone, no matter what.

The chechen was the only one willing to give him a chance and who respected his plan...

But in the long run...The Joker doesn't care what you think...lol...He kills who he wants, when he wants lol

Exactly!

To me...Heath may have died...but when I watch that movie...I don't see Heath...I really don't...so to me, The Joker is still alive.

The interrogation scene, everything I could have wished for in a Joker scene.

i didnt see that happen, i thought he just got up and went for gambol while his goons grabbed gambols men?

Gambol pulls the bag off his head, turns around and says:

"Dead...that's $5 million" (or whatever the amount is)

Than right as he is talking...keep your eyes on Joker...

His arms extend to the henchmen's torso, and than close to their face as he sits upright...

Definitely the interrogation scene!!! I loved how he just laffed whilst Batman punched him and whacked him!!!

oh nice spot dk, ill have to check it right this second!! hehehe ;) dont worry i've been to the cinema 6 times so im not cheating!!

hahaha yea he does!! its well quick though, it looks like he guts them. he starts from their waist and slashes upwards!! awesome!!!

He GUTS them!? :wow: Geez add that to the list of the only reason this movie isn't R is because there's no blood, even after he GUTS two people!

...Joker's awesome. In a totally non-creepy way of course.

His speech while hanging upside down.

I agree 1000%

That epitomize not just the Joker but the way he view Batman and his "relationship" with him.

EDIT: I just looked up in the page and it seems like I stole Bob Vance comment. It must be great minds think alike.

i liked the scene when he crashes the fund raising party. possibly the best joker scene, and did you guys know the old guy who stand up to the joker is a senator from vermont?

Interrogation scene and the ending scene with the crowbar and the dogs.
