My first time playing the original was 11 years ago, I hated it.

It's rubbish compared to the second game but it was fun at the time it came out (when beat-em ups were young) and I liked Adon and Sagat.

Yeah they should be able to stop in time even if there is a sudden crash directly ahead of them. That's the point of allowing sufficient stopping distances.

omfg i failed my driving test today i-

I failed my first time too. There was a guy with his hazards on standing outside his car in the middle of the street. I slowed down, signaled, and went around. Turns out driving in the middle of the street was an automatic failure. I guess I was just supposed to sit there and wait.

I was pretty pissed, but ultimately went back the second time and passed. Moral of the story, **** happens. You'll come back better for it.

It's rubbish without being compared to anything superior, but that was important rubbish to lead to one of the best aging games of all time.
