Say that and you're just asking for more Spiderman.

Wow, I recall reading something about the troublesome production way back then, but this is fantastic. Now I need to get hold of that documentary about this that's mentionend. The trivia page for The Island of Dr. Moreau is a very amusing read.

The making of that movie would make for a great season of the show Feud. It could be Marlon Brando vs. Val Kilmer vs. Everyone
Unless Bruce Campbell starts wearing a Spider-Man mask at some orgy in Season 3 of Ash vs the Evil Dead...then yes.

What are your fave comic book super hero/villain characters anyway Reek? Were you a big reader of Marvel/DC back in the day or any other company, or was that just not your bag? Know them more from toons and films?
I can get into that.
1. ***** Salsa
2. Superman
3. Batman
4. X-Men (Wolverine and Cable were my favorites)
5. Captain America
What did you think of Logan?
What did YOU think of LOGAN Sanchez?
When I saw Man of Steel, people clapped when the neck snapping happened.
I got people cheering when Gwen died in TASM2
Considering the two movies, it really isn't.That's just odd.

Maybe they were as annoyed as I was by the love story, or they were happy she was able to finally escape the worst Peter Parker I have had the displeasure of watching.I adore the first TASM. The second is a mess. But even being a mess the film's quality has little to do with a crowd of people cheering when the hero's love dies. I just find that ****ing weird.

I remember cheering like crazy for the baddie to kill everyone in Avatar.![]()
Reek, don't ruin this for me.they cheered because its an iconic comic book moment. i cant stand it when people find that necessary.

I have grown to like Spider-Man 1 a lot more over the years, though I don't find it all that great. I appreciate the Batman '89 "timelessness" to it more now then I did. Its Spider-Man, he is from the 60s. He's a 60s goofball. My love for Spider-Man 2 fluctuates, but I still regard it pretty highly.Eh... I prefer TAS-M1 to a lot of elements in the Raimi films, which includes comically sad sack Maguire. Don't get me wrong, both S-M1 and S-M2 are landmark super hero flicks with the second one being a classic for all time... but I prefer a lot more Garfield who comes off as a real human being to Toby. Then again for myself Raimi's characterization of everything in Peter's life including his characterization had heavy artifice going on. The high school stuff especially felt like it was done by someone who hadn't been in a high school since the late 1960's. I also have forever felt that S-M1 has a really abrupt ending that's always hurt it in my eyes. I'll cut out of this convo now since I am sure the usual complaints about TAS-M1 are coming, and I honestly just don't agree with them and think the criticisms are often way overblown.
I am in agreement with most talk about TAS-M2. About 75% of tht film is terribly conceived for some reason, which as much as it's on the heads of Sony and Webb... Well I also think the fan outcry over TAS-M1's supposed sins played a part in the overcompensation in the follow up.
