The MTA needs to get it's head out of it's ass. They shut down the subway stop in my neighborhood so I have to leave about fifteen minutes earlier than I used to so I can get to work on time... Except that the trains, even though they have fewer stops to get to since my stop isn't the only one shut down now, seem to travel even slower than they did before this construction began. Sad to say but... After both 9/11 and both Hurricane Irene and Sandy, the subways were more on time and smoother running than they have been for the past year.
