I saw plenty of online hate especilly on bryan Singer.it was mostly received well in X_Men section here but not other places.

Eh,it has lots of votes on the 2014 best CBM poll so I don't know where all the hate comes from.

Well... that teaser sorta uh... changed my feelings towards the movie.

Not quite on the hype!train yet, but a lot of my doubts are gone now.

I'm not going to change my mind unless a see a full trailer that doesn't point to the film being a cheap hallway and laboratory bound movie.

You didn't see the n-zone? Pretty sure it was featured in the teaser.

That is now. This was then.

Just look at Quicksilver. Woo-boy everyone was hating on him then the movie came out and he became an audience favourite.

Funny old world innit

DOFP being 5 votes or less behind winter soldier is huge victory for it around here.

First Class also had lot of hate before it came out.

IGN posted a Rewind Trailer.

Discusssed some theories over how many trips to the N-Zone, if they can control their powers at first, if Doom is disfigured by the experiment and more. Check it out

Aside from Doom pretty much everything you described about the characters traits is likely to be in the movie or more specifically hasn't been confirmed to not be in the movie.

She could be the motherly type, Ben the big protective brother type, Reed the scholastic Genius and Johnny the cocky type

Exactly. The whole "this doesn't embody the spirit of the FF" argument is pure conjecture. If the ACTUAL film vastly resembles said spirit, alotta people are gonna run out of ways to hate on this movie.

For me,Quicksilver's 'costume' was still bad though.

FC was indeed hated, but DOFP was not imo.

the comic was great. it was a very gritty parody of a lot of nonsense that was going on at the two big comic book houses at the same time, especially the x-books

And Daredevil. Eastman & Laird Turtles were pretty badass.

Maybe if people keep talking about DoFP and other movies they can get this thread closed down just like the other ones.

I hate the costumes in Singer's X-Men films and that will never ever change. Quicksilver's costume did look like **** and it especially looked like **** on that magazine cover. Blame Fox for Quicksilver's ****** reveal not the fans.

And I absolutely did not think that Quicksilver was going to be a bad character because his costume sucked, I simply thought his costume sucked. The actor was good, I had no reason to believe that he wouldn't be good in the role. Just like I think the cast of FF are really good and will do a good job in their roles.

It's pure ******** to say that everyone who hated the Quicksilver costume thought that the actual character and performance would suck. People are allowed to hate Singers unimaginative costuming without being accused of throwing the baby out with the bathwater.

Furthermore Fantastic Four isn't X-Men, like at all.

Maybe some people for some odd reason always want to see Michael Bay explosions, giant robots or random alien invasion of Newyork in all superhero movies/trailers, if they don't then it will be called cheap. Every comic book film must cost 200 mill.

Wrong again dude. I have always maintained that every comicbook film shouldn't cost 200 million dollars but thanks for strawmanning, it's what you guys do best.
HA! It went from "it doesn't look cheap!!1!" To "its okay to be cheap!!1!" At the drop of a damn hat.
Apparently it's either 80 million or 200 million, there are no in between budgets.

You're right. In fact, I hope when Trank does his Star Wars solo film he doesn't have any x-wings or light sabers. I want a grounded Star Wars film, no force powers, it should be based on real science. The fighter pilots should wear containment suits like they would in space not those fighter ace looking things. The jedi need to struggle with their disabilities, and we need a grounded Sith that sends messages over the ships computer systems, to scare the Jedi.

You weren't in here too much I SEE Spidey but the idea that this was some 70 million dollar rights grab was a huge thing some people pointed to as why this was going to be bad.

Whenever anyone asked where they got that budget number from no one really said.

It's up to Josh Trank to prove me wrong but sight unseen I do find the idea of a quickly made cheap FF film to be completely unappealing. If one doesn't find that idea unappealing then fine, everyone is entitled to their opinion.

I actually had a difficult time believing the cheap budget rumors, no that's not true, I'll admit that I didn't believe them at all. I did eventually come to believe them and the teaser just added to that belief.
