Well, I have to hand it to FOX in regards to the marketing. They deliberately left it this long so that expectations were at an all time low, so that this mediocre trailer looks amazing in comparison. And a lot of you fell for it.

A sci-fi horror Fantastic Four. Absolutely laughable.

Why are people being picked on for their positive comments? Its getting a bit desperate now.

Guess you must have missed all the snide comments from the supporters calling everyone else drones & cultists. That's awful convenient.

Did we really have to close the optimistic thread? It felt cozy and you didn't have to read all the attacks. :*(

Ironically you couldn't pay people to post in that thread during it's first few months.

Now I suspect it'd be used an a base for HappyFunTime discussion, with half the posters in it enjoying protection from different opinions while launching snark missions out into the rest of the section.

I mean I'm all for a Pro-Fox echo chamber if it meant I didn't have to put up with people calling me a mindless Marvel sycophant every other post but we all know it wouldn't work that way.

So it looks like, for the time being at least, you'll have to keep wallowing in the mud* with us impossible-to-please fanboys.

So i used my phone and zoomed in on this to look at some details and discovered the thing looks naked. I dont see shorts on him at all. I could be wrong but then again i could be right lol.

I agree with you... the only way you could possibly consider this image representative of the Fantastic Four would be if all 4 were exhibiting their powers.

A little flame from Johnny, a stretching Reed, and partially invisible Sue - would have made the image the Fantastic Four.

It was something that popped up a few months ago. We were told at the time it was an old design that wasn't being used for the film.

But it looks to me like they at least used elements of it.

And that's unfortunate because it's a pretty bad design.

Yeah, I'm still worried that nothing we've seen so far has indicated that the story summary we saw with that detail isn't based on at least a draft of what we're going to get.

And since and ability to change would be a lot less expensive than giving a CGI Thing screen time, I have a bad feeling that's what we'll get.

There was little to discuss and this forum was split into people wanting FOX to loose rights and those wanting to be patiant. Now i have to have discussions with those people who still just want FOX to loose FF. It's going to be sooooo booring, i have to wait for the movie to come out to get a good discussion here!
