Can FOX make their version of Namor for the FF Franchise or is he Marvel exclusive?
Marvel Exclusive.

I wanted him to appear in the third Tim Story Ff film until I found out that Universal bought the film rights for Namor.

That's a shame, i really liked the visual outlook of Ultimate Namor and his story included.

Yeah it kinda sucks... I feel like Namor is one of the most essential characters that should appear in a Fantastic Four film.

Dude, reshoots were done a while ago. I am 100% sure of this.

BTW I know this movie has a troubled post production, a lot to do with the CGI and lack of action. That's all. Not saying its going to be a good movie, likely will be disaster, but the rumours surrounding it are getting very suspicious.

Well maybe it's already happened but supposedly he wasn't even there. Pretty messed up for a director when the stunt coordinator has to finish your movie for you.

And this would actually happen if Marvel got the rights back. Along with the Inhumans, the real Frightful Four, Black Panther, the Hulk and She-Hulk. Instead we get a watered down version of the team with none of those things.

Oh well, i wouldn't mind seeing the Ultimate Freightful Four be done in the style of Cronenberg's Rabid maybe?

I just hope if they chose to do SIlver Surfer in later film, that it's a good one.

Fox's Silver Surfer would just be a gray haired beach bum named Harold from Galactus, California.

Remember, we don't want anything fun or "cartoonish", it all has to be grounded and real-world.

Not to mention Gah Lak Tus! Can they do their version of Captain Marvel?

He was there as much as Matthew Vaughn was on xmen fc reshoots.

My opinion on Sue in each of the comics has been the following:

616
For a good portion of its early years, she was nothing more than the girl that needed saving. The pin up Sue is just not what women want to see in a female hero

By John Byrne's run in the 80's and onward, Sue was no longer the damsel in distress but in stead started being represented as the most powerful member of the group.

Nope. Either version of the original Captain Marvel is of Kree origin, and that's Marvels.

Do they have Terrax?

I would have thought so. Most (if not all) of Galactus' heralds are likely bundled with him. Air Walker and Firelord might be a gray area as they are both of Xandarian origin, and they (like the Kree) were already included in GOTG.

I doubt, should they go with some version of Galactus, they'd look beyond the Surfer or Terrax in any event.

Yup, for at least 30 years now the 616 Sue has been far more substantial than her early days.

Don't care. It was contrived and stupid.

But while we're on the subject, if the entire series hadn't essentially been Wolverine and His Little X-Pals Kitty might have already been established as an important enough character to do the time traveling herself. But no, The Wolverine Show must roll on.

Agreement.

Thank you! That's why I washed my hands of the X-films entirely.

As for Trank's ****ty Sue commentary, my god! I'll laugh if the failure of Fan4stic leads to Disney snatching his Star Wars standalone away from him.

I actually think the cut out "4" over Sue's boobs was pretty slu*ty and a real low point for the character in the comics. But Trank makes it sounds like that is basically the only other option for the character other than the one he's chosen to portray which is either uninformed, arrogant or outright disingenuous.

Sue is probably the most powerful member of the team but it's the motherly, protective, nurturing element she brings to the family that I've always appreciated the most (which even goes back to her earliest days during which he character was a product of the times in which she was created). But that element is not even on the table I suppose. It's either slu*ty or smart apparently.

Kinberg was one of 5 writers on Sherlock. He had Goldman, Vaughan and Singer with DOFP too.

On his own? He is Not so hot. XXX2 and Mr & Mrs Smith? The former absolutely awful, the latter just average, only elevated from forgettable mediocrity by it's 2 big name stars.

Give him good writers to work with the end result can be good. Given all the 'heavy lifting' he struggles (imo).

Basically, the best entries on his resume required assists. The worst are either mostly (or soley), his own talent at work.

Plus him and Zak Penn with The Last Stand (though The Avengers proved that Penn was the better writer of the two for the former)

I'm happy to see Kinberg the supposed new "architect" of the Marvel Fox-verse (unseating the utterly invisible "I'll just cash my check thank you" Mark Millar) being outed for the hack he truly is.

So when can I pre buy my tickets?

Few times I've been around that track
So it's not just gonna happen like that
'Cause I ain't no hollaback girl

Millar's no better. Damn shame, too, since I adored his short Swamp Thing run

I think that's giving Penn too much credit. Joss Whedon is pretty adamant that he kept only the barest of bones when he did his top to bottom rewrite on The Avengers. I get the impression that Penn's authorial voice is practically non-existent in the finished film.

I was alluding to Penn on The Last Stand w/ Kinberg

As long as Galactus is not a huge cosmic cloud but a humanoid type being I really wouldn't care how they spell his name. I just want to see that biblical type story of Surfer turning on his creator. It's one of the greatest stories in the Marvel Universe to me.

I'm honestly okay with this. I've always associated Namor more with the Avengers. The FF and X-Men have enough characters between the two properties that they don't need to ask Marvel for additional IP and Marvel worked hard to get Namor back so they'd be dumb to let him go again.
