Again, I dislike the liberties taken with Ant-Man even more than the ones taken with Fantastic Four but I'd never boo Peyton Reed. I plan on seeing both films this summer anyway, provided that reviews are good.

Yeah, that means having to live with an elderly Hank Pym and a young Reed Richards but I won't turn down a good film.

And Age of Ultron is what the first Avengers should have been. I get the hate for Hulk/Widow but other than that, it was a very good film.

That sounds reasonable. I look forward to your opinion when you see the film.

And I agree with Age of Ultron. It was an excellent film. Total blast to watch from start to finish.

I am more interested in talking about this movie's promotion than I am in seeing the movie, which means this movies promotion and marketing have completely failed to sell me on getting to the theater on opening weekend to see it.

Either this movie sucks, or it's better than FOX is making it look right now. Neither is a good thing.

This movie pretty much has to be better than it looks. Hell, Dragonball Evolution was better than the marketing made it look (if only a little). That said, it will probably really suck for fans of the "616" FF, as nobody involved is making any effort to hide the fact that this version is wildly different.

It's going to be really interesting to see how this film does at the box office. Will Fox get their act together and give the film a good and successful last minute push like Paramount did last year with Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles or will they continue this buzzless shrug worthy marketing plan? The truth is it isn't too late to make the film a hit but Fox has to get it's act together.

I wish we just weren't getting any promotion. The problem is we are getting promotion, but it's really bad promotion.

This photo is promotion. It was just released and posted on the official Facebook page.

But who in their right mind is going to look at this photo - with its carefully crafted and expertly rendered tag-line - and say "Now THAT's a film I want to see." As opposed to "Huh? What's this crap?"

Somebody is actually getting paid to produce that photo. And presumably the same people who thought that photo was a good idea will be the people responsible for the final 'blitz' (which I think is already starting - it's just hard to believe this weak effort is really it).

can I be the first to point out that there is only three of them in this pic with a #fantasticfour at the bottom? Without the hashtag, no one would know who this is. However, with The Thing in the pic, at least people would have an idea of who they are without the hashtag. also SPOILERS!!!!!!!......

























in Secret Wars, 616 Sue and Johnny are dead, Battleworld Sue from another earth is alive, but her brother is the sun in Doom's new world. Can't get much clearer Marvel.
