Solid trailer. I like the scenes with young Reed and Ben a lot. Good stuff.

I do think this trailer is designed to spotlight the fun, action and more quippy parts of the film. I don't think its representative of the type of film this is overall. Odds are good that this is a more cebral and more emotional film than people are expecting with a few major action sequences sprinkled in.

That's what I'm thinking too. I reckon the majority of it will be about them coming together as a family and learning to adjust to their powers with the third act having most of the action.

i'm honestly fine with the Negative Zone origin.. it's the same spirit of the space race and uncharted territory.. but the fact majority of this film deals with their "tragic accident" and "disfigurements" and coping with them.. is beyond total BS.... I almost kinda feel like If marvel ever get's the rights back... they need to tell a main story.. but a flash-back story interwoven with it... Maybe the F4 and Doom were a big strange thing that happened in the 80s... Doom won, thought he killed them (really just sent them through a time portal) they re-appear in modern times, unaged.. they're big celebrities... Doom aged a bit.. and was kinda bored with no longer having a rival... Latveria is in shambles.. Doom see's them return, his anger rebirths.. yada yada... that way you keep the back history.. the origin story is done, it could be sorta similar to how DC is handling Batman right now, and how Hank Pym was aunt man with Wasp back in the past too..

So that was probably my favourite of the trailers/teasers.

Liked that we're getting some backstory for Reed and Bens friendship and Reeds genius at such a young age.

Action looks awesome.

Certainly not cheap looking with all those effects and destruction.

Doom comes across as a guy who wants to rule over others which would lead into perhaps conquering Latveria in the sequel

I know I have been saying I am looking forward to the final battle in NYC a lot, but what I am really intrigued about is this film certainly feels more science-y. This certainly interests me like the couple other members here who said they are looked forward to it the most.

Watch this thing become a surprise hit of the summer. I just have this feeling. It kinda hits all the marks for a summer movie. Young cast, spectacle, kinda diverse, etc.

I don't see that happening. And not because of whining fanboys, everybody knows that they don't make film's hits. I don't think the marketing is good enough and I don't think that they visuals are sufficiently eye catching.

I thought it was just "meh".

No, I had a problem with his voice and mannerisms. He didn't seem threatening at all. The new Doom is an improvement but still not what I feel people wanted to see.

Oh, ok. I know fans didn't like those films overall, but I wasn't sure if I missed something about fans not liking how Doom looked.

I liked that they changed it to green. Isn't that Doom's color... maybe if he gets a wardrobe change, it would be color green.

And the start of the trailer with the kids in both trailers... are really good. I can't wait to see it in full! Flying car reminds me of Fantasticar!
