I agree I think it's a waste of time to boo. I think it's really sad if you go to the panel just to boo. BUt if that's how some want to spend their day and money that's on them. I just would never do that.


But I don't get, by your logic, why they shouldn't buy off reviewers. I really don't see the difference. You want them to hire people to fake their excitement, so why not hire reviewers to say they like the film? Better PR then having to twist the critic's words (which no one buys nowadays) is to actually have a lot of good reviews.

unfortunately sometimes you have to sit through panels you don't want to in order to see the one you want to. So if this is first... and you went to the fox panel for Deadpool and X-men.. you have to sit through this.. and those are the types of people that would yes... boo

This is the one that I liked the most:

There's not a single thing from those posters that encourages me to go see the films.

The reason I say this is that they are using the same standard photoshop formula for the posters as just about every action-adventure movie that's been released in the past decade and a half.

And it's not just Fox, all the studios do it and frankly, it's cheap and lazy.

I want old time movie posters. I want to see real artistry in the works. None of these color-filtered photoshop images tell me anything beyond the company cutting costs. Any kid with a decent computer at home can do what these studios are rolling out.

The thing about the Aunt May casting is that Aunt's of today are nothing like the Aunt's of the 60's when Spidey came out. Thanks to botox, implants and pilates, MILF's much more enticing now than they were then. So it makes sense for them to cast someone like Tomei in that role.

plus women arn't letting themselves go grey... so there's that too..

as for Dr. Stranges changes... all his supporting cast/villains are so very very minor and ambiguous mostly.. that gender and race changes really don't matter at all.. now if Doctor Strange became another race or gender.. yes.. you would have seen a backlash.

When I read the Trank interview, I felt like that was it. I figured I should just log off, give up and forget about it. It doesn't sound like 'giving the fans what they want' is even on his radar. He seems to wear his disdain for us and the comic books as a badge of honor.

But before I gave up for good, I remembered the trailer should be coming soon. I'll at least wait to see if that shows anything worthwhile before completely giving up, but if it's just more of the same, I may be done.

i wouldn't be so quick to scream ultimate either... on that.

They de-aged May when she came back after she "died" in the comics... both incarnations have her with grey hair and in her 50s - 60s. She's less frail, more spry and spunky. She's definitely still a little older in the 616 universe but they definitely de-aged her and gave her a libido shacking up with Jarvis and JJJ sr.

plus again.. it'd be super rare and a bit odd to have an Aunt who's in her 70s (or up) when you're like 16..

it can happen, but its a bit odd especially when Ben isn't suppose to be DRASTICALLY older than Richard

give her a little grey in her hair and give her a medical condition like a heart murmur and you've got a great Aunt May

New one-minute character profiles have been added at Rotten Tomatoes. Not a lot of new footage, but there's a glimpse of Doom when he's walking down the hall and killing the guards (same one from the teaser); there's been a few tweaks to him.

Miles Tellers is almost 30 yet people say he's too young for Reed and they call him a teenager because he looks young. Marissa Tomei looks young for her age too
