Right.....GotG find Reed, Sue, Ben, and Johnny out on a spaceship....Starlord looks at them and says - Hey, aren't you those guys that went missing when I was still on Earth?

Going off on a tangent here but with the "lost in space" theme I think a new take on the origin story could be that the four teammates end up on four different planets, which would explain why their powers are different. If Reed is the one left with the ship it's up to him to find/save them all and try to get back to Earth.

Nah. If the FF were in the MCU the easy answer is to make Galactus the last surviving Celestial. They already laid the groundwork for visuals and it looked damn good

If Marvel Studios can pull off kirby-esque Sonic Cannons, cyborgs and talking racoons, they can pull off Galactus. Hell, after this debacle even if the big G didn't quite come off I'd at least appreciate the attempt. With FOX, there isn't even that. There wasnt even that. All we got was a freakin' cloud. Yet the Silver Surfer was nailed. Go figure.
