:hubba Great stuff. Can't wait for the trailer this weekend!!!

Avengers 2 is going to be cool and all, but I'm more emotionally invested in these characters and the journey up till this point. And since this is PW last movie, this is a must see for me personally :yay:.

i know these movies get a little far fetched with their stunts and stuff (which i love btw), i probably would've read a graphic novel about these characters if they put one out.

like most say, we come back to the franchise cuz we're invested in the characters. it's going to be really tough for some of to see this movie and say goodbye to Brian. i'll probably be one of those people, since i've been here since Day 1. I saw the first one no less than 3 times and i have been to every one opening day weekend, the last 2 or 3 at midnight

I'm look forward to this more than any other movie next year. I love these movies and characters.

BTW, I really like your avvy ComicChick. I can't stop watching it.

I'm stuck with this franchise forever. Been with it since Day 1. I'll be with it till the end.

Yep. I never understood why it took Fast Five to get people on board. (AKA to get people to admit they like these movies.)

Because Tyrese Gibson and other departures from acceptable acting in some of the sequels made it a mediocre franchise IMO. 1 and 5 (probably 6) are really the only ones worth talking about, 2 was terrible, 3 was pretty lame and 4 was bad.

As well as I...

Summer 2001, I was at hockey camp and the little theater that was in that town only had TF&TF for over one month. I think I saw it once every weekend for 3 weeks.

Yes, this franchise is cheesy... outlandish... but it is honest, fun, and has lots of heart.

I'll never give it up.

I totally recognize these aren't the greatest flicks, far from it, but the characters and what they try to do with them always bring me back. I have life memories wrapped up in every single Fast film.

I just don't understand how people can get a lot out of F5 if they don't like the other movies. Sure it's a great action movie, but F5 worked for me on so many levels because I genuinely like these characters and their world.

That's cool, because they've managed to create a decent set of characters. For me though, as somebody who isn't a huge fan but I've seen them all, the only movies that made me give a **** about the characters were 1 and 5. The others seemed forced and contrived as movies. I can recognize that Paul Walker's character was decent in 2 but the overall stupidity of that movie erases it while watching. Especially considering that they went from 1 which was really decent to that piece of ****.

I love 2 Fast lol. Walker and Tyrese were fun, some good buddy cop stuff. But man, did those horrible CG races suck.

Haha yeah, I can see how it would be enjoyable. The tone between 1 and 2 was just so different it completely lost me. And I think I hate Tyres Gibson, or maybe how they wrote his character. Probably both.

The Rock with a machine gun. Doesn't get more badass than that.

2fast tried 2 hard to be funny sometimes (see what i did there? lol). and the dialogue wasn't comfortable at times. i mean, pockets aint empty cuz? really. but cole hauser was a decent villain imo
tokyo drift tried to find it's own niche and branch out to other kinds of street racing. i didn't hate it, but the main characters i was nowhere near as invested in.
Fast 4 was kinda bad, yeah, but it helped us get back to the characters we love. the car scenes in the caves were kinda cool too.
