FF 2 Rate and Review Thread

lol, albafan, were you actually sad when Hager died?
Everyone in my theater was laughing...I thought it was a bad death but really funny

NOT HIIIIMMMM........:whatever:

The Hager kill is what tells me this flick was really PG-13, but was given a PG in an attempt to get more kiddy cash. There was no blood, but still...disturbing way to go.

Wish they didn't have the Sue "death" only because we knew immediately the Surfer would heal her. Just didn't add anything to the story in my mind.

How would the general audiences know? That's the point.

lol, Why put things in spoilers in the spoilers forum if it's not in the thread title?

In the movie, Earth is saved from destruction!

And my response was to LS saying that Hager was definately dead....so there, nyah.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO it wasn't......it was to comicbook characters not really dieing.......sooooooooooooooooooo, nyah:o

Or is he?

Maybe he gets revived when the Surfer returns?

His ass is gonna be looking like that stained glass thing from Young Sherlock Holmes if he does. I went to see this twice and everytime that scene happens, people wince or go, "whoa." One dude screamed out loud, "goddaaaammmmnn!" at my second showing. People were cracking up. :D

My first theater had a few claps when it happend.

Hager looked dead to me, i mean half his face was gone. I hope he is dead

The Surfer came back and brought him back to life, and then Reed said "I SWEAR I'll work non-stop to try and reattach the other half of your face!"
and Hager said, "Neh, don't bother. I'm good As Is. :D:up:"

The man is dead. Did you see how crisp he was?...He was even crispier than Claire when she got burnt in heroes

Better then the last film, I really liked this one a lot more, will see it again for sure,

Surfer was so damn cool, liked the relationship between him and Sue.

Didn't think Sue would kind of Die, in a way but she came back.

So happy they got married as well, lots of more laughs in this one as well, liked the whole exchanging powers was good.

Dr Doom was under used I liked him though.

The Galatcus cloud sucked we didn't even get to see him :( But he will be back!

Lots more action and them using their powers better and just a great film.

Just Jessica Alba kept blabbing on in interviews about her being more powerful and having some great power, yeah didn't see any of that in the film or did she mean coming back from the dead that was the Surfer not you.

Early scripts I believe had her getting all the powers instead of Johnny (ie, the MTV interview back in the Summer of 2006) this of course was changed....she has always said in interviews, especially if the guys are there, that Sue is the most powerful, its more in fun than anything else....

Ask Stan Lee who he thinks is the most powerful of the 4?

Why would any of you debate whether Hager is alive or not? He was an expendable character that no one cared about :whatever:

Oh thanks, hmmm wonder what would have happened if they had it Sue doing the whole all power things, as it meas she would have not been dead.

You got Stan's number then hehe.

But it was a great film I liked it, want to see it again.

Iown was great as well I really liked him a lot more his dancing was well better then Parkers in Spidey 3 hehe.

And he becomes Deathlock?:woot:

First things first is FF2 better than the first film? YES
Is the dialogue still bad? Unfortunately ...YES
Its the action sequences and The Silver Surfer that made this film fun.
Oh and Jessica Alba looking hot as hell.
This is my problem with this film and some other comic book films/t.v shows.
The studios, writers and directors have such a wealth of stories and history at their disposal, but they refuse to use any of it.They make up bland stories and situations. They dont even use the technology they have at their disposal. In this film my main gripe is Galactus. Its sad really when you see him created with ease for video games and comics(see pic below)but in a major big budget movie, they decide to make him look like a cosmic tornado/storm.
COME ON HOLLYWOOD GET IT TOGETHER !!!
Scale of 1-10 a 7

I actually heard people talking before the movie, and one guy says, "I think they changed that Galactus guy for this one." And one other guy says, "good, because that would have been "gay" as hell." I guess some may have liked it while others would have laughed it out of the theatre.

Anyone else feel a bit of sexual tension between Alba and Evans in the movie? Like in the scene before the wedding when Torch says their dad would be proud, and he looks right into her eyes. I thought they were about to kiss. :creepy: :csad: :trans:

I personally wouldn't describe the moment as there being sexual tension. But I know what you mean, I also felt like they were about to kiss. It was kind of an awkward moment. I didn't know what to expect.

Other than that the film rocked my socks.
