I think it would be. Valeria is slightly more interesting because of what Millar and Hitch did but I still want the FF to go on exciting adventures and have less of the "have you done your homework" type stories.

Even if you start the series with them already having their powers I think it's WAY too early to introduce the kids...

Franklin was born in Annual #6 so I am good for waiting till the sixth movie...

When they begin working in the Negative Zone there is really no reason not to bring in Franklin.

I think (if it's an origin film,as I imagine it will be,)they should wait for Franklin, but I would like to see him included at some point.

For Franklin, I think film 2 is fine. Valeria, probably too soon.

I think its too early, maybe for the 3rd or 4th film.

I'm wary of how Franklin will be portrayed on film though, especially since Marvel's most successful films consistently have a strong influence on the comics (even though it should be the other way around).

Naw, keep that little abomination out of the films. Please.

Same goes for the Mary Sue daughter.

Hmmmmm.....If they go straight from the last movie, and move on from there....I could see a Franklin by the end of this movie. Take them into the Negative Zone and go from there....HEY, LET'S DO A MALICE STORY LINE.....Yeah....lol, I will wish for the Malice Story line until it happens. ; )

To the cornfield!!!

I'd like to at least see Franklin included in one of the movies. He's been a presence in the Fantastic Four comics longer than many of us have been alive, writers rarely treat him like a burden to the team, and he's one of my favorite supporting characters. He kinda deserves it, even if we have to wait until the second or third movie to get him.

Valeria, though? I like her, but let's not walk before we can run. You gotta introduce the big brother before you can bring in the little sister. Plus having a super genius 3 year old presents a laundry list of issues a live action film would have to address that I don't feel like getting into in this post.

I'd prefer they hold off on Franklin for a few films. I'd prefer that an initial "trilogy" focus on correcting the sins of past films, as it were. In film 1, I'd like a great origin story with a young FF. Franklin simply wouldn't fit there. I'd like for film 2 to be a great Dr. Doom story that gives the villain the script he deserves. Again, Franklin would get in the way (and Reed & Sue's relationship should really still be in an early stage at this point). I could see the 3rd film being a great Silver Surfer/Galactus film that would wash out the bad taste from the last FF film we got. If a pregnancy was set up then I wouldn't mind, though.

I know this isn't really the thread for it, but I'd rather get Annihilus than Galactus in a Fan4 movie. I'd prefer the Skrull, too.

I believe both Annihilus and the Skrull are owned by Marvel/Disney...

Hmm. Props to Marvel for not selling Fox the rights to those villains, but they've just dashed my dreams of the Fan4 going into the Negative Zone in a movie in the near future.

I could be wrong, but when Whedon was asked why he used neither of the above, it wasn't because he couldn't...it was because there were already too much going on in his movie.

I actually thought that Fox owned all the mutants, along with Doom, Galactus and Silver Surfer...but again, I could totally be wrong.

Skrulls are in that weird grey area where both studios have a claim to them, like Scarlet Witch, Quicksilver, and, apparently, Viper. I'm not sure on Annihilus, but I'd assume Fox has him.

Yeah, I think you may be right about Annihilus....

No way should they have Franklin or Val in the movie. The FF need to prove themselves as great heroes so that the general audience will feel excited that they are having a child. So, by the end of the third movie (all this takes place when the Fox owned FF sucks and it's returned to Marvel).

I think it could make for an interesting movie if a young man say pre-teen aged kid appears in their home and claims to be their son..mysterious unexplained events occur b/c he hasnt got a grip on his powers yet...maybe hes running from doom in the future whos managed to siphon off some of his power...yeah...its got potential...

I doubt they will even get married in this movie...I'm not even sure they are even going to be the Fantastic Four in this movie, as in uniforms, etc...

When Sue is pregnant, if she turns invisible the baby should be visible, correct.

After all the baby doesn't have invisible powers, should be no different form a baby standing behind her except the baby will be inside her.

1. The baby is inside her, and everything inside Sue turns invisible along with her skin.

2. Even if that wasn't the case, Sue can make other people and objects invisible at will.
