That's pretty good. My only suggestion would be that the whips should be apart of the armor.

I would eventually like to get away from every armored villain needing to base their stuff off Stark's design(hence the arc reactor in the chest plate). In the comics, several of his villains came up with their own armor on their own(though likely being inspired by Stark showing that it is indeed possible to make powered armor).

worse case scenario this is the whip lash armour wich isnt that far from the comics and then he gets upgraded to Crimson dynamo. Needless to say that, that is not what tony will fight in the final battle

Cool design! I was always a fan of the 3D Man or Yellowjacket type of goggles. I'd love to see those on the big screen.

I don't care for the pic but I'm not going to condem the film because of it.

I'm sure the movie will be fine and desipte his horribly deformed mug Mickey is a good actor and should bring something special to the flick.

So I don't like the picture but I'm not going to spend time b**ching about it because it ain't that important.

hes casting is cliche so i expect a cliche ''rourke villain''. but i dont think thats a bad thing. after all its a summer blockbuster . it will be a fun movie.

Absolutely. I think the whole point is he'll use the Whiplash outfit from the promo picture (which looks silly IMO) get whupped and then get offered a chance for revenge using an updated technology from Justin Hammer aka a Crimson Dynamo armor.
