The Dark Knight Rises First picture of Catwoman - Part 2

No one knows, from what we've heard from some pretty good sources is that there is a cat-cowl. So like the others there very well may be a costume evolution. I'm sure there will be. But either way I like it. Yea it is missing the cowl though, and I would like to see that.

That's all it's missing, it's 90% there, she just needs to, well, have some sort of cat like look to her. At the moment she's just Selina Kyle in goggles.

****, I'd settle for painted on whiskers just to give her a cat like look

The costume evolution is what I'm holding out for.

Even though it'd be a tight fit. The sources have said she's going to wear a cat-cowl...

It could be at the end of the film, maybe?

You know, I wouldn't even mind the glasses if she had the cathood on in the picture.

That's ALL she's missing. And I hope to Cthulhu that Nolan gives it to her.

Oh, and I've read that the official photo that was sent out from Warner Bros. had the file name Selina Kyle.

Not Catwoman.

I thought the same thing. I could make fun of the glasses, but depending on the cat-cowl...I could have been happy with the look.

What do those blue lights do?

Oh and by the way, I don't think that the long sleeves and the long boots are gonna be in the finished product. Just look at the actual promo pic. She doesn't have it

The stunt double has them for safety reasons

I highly doubt you need to be wearing thigh-high boots like that for safety reasons. Good grief.

She does not appear to have the long gloves in the promo pic, but with the boots her legs aren't showing enough to tell. Just because she doesn't have the same gloves in the official image, does not mean she won't be wearing them.

I still say she "steals" those goggles from Wayne Enterprises somehow and then modifies them to fit into a cowl with the cat ears to end up looking like the current comic book version. I bet the goggles have some sort of sweet display/x-ray/nightvision/infrared modes which helps her with the whole cat burglar thing.

At this point, I wouldn't care how forced the storytelling would be as long as it gets her in the cowl.

I'm starting to think they released that photo just to piss us off before releasing a full body picture looking like Catwoman on the cover of EW or something.

I often wonder at times if Nolan feels embarrassed that he's making Batman movies. If this ends up being the final Catwoman look it comes across as if he's purposely avoiding the character.

I don't think so at all, he has gone full out before, and been praised for what he's done. He seems like a really humble man, I don't think he puts his nose up to things like that at all. People hated Scarecrow, James Bond+Potato Sack Man. Things like that were always said. I don't think he hates it at all, just he has a different artistic style. But they usually work in his context of his world. I think it will work fine. He's got Bane with Venom in it, Batman, I think he is fine with it.

She'll have the cowl, for God's sake. It's just running in circles on this side of the Hype, isn't it?

OH, and I just read on the official Warner Bros site for The Dark Knight that Aaron Eckhart played Harvey Dent... no mention of Two-Face.

I guess I just imagined Two-Face in the movie then.

Yeah, screw storytelling. I want my pretty pictures.

HUH?

I just don't get some of you.

Keyword: "At this point.." which you overlooked.

That's how bad she looks without the cat-cowl.

It's a visual medium. How far do you go with the "look doesn't matter"? If batman had no ears, would that be acceptable because of the storytelling?

She doesn't look bad though. It's just a bunch of petty fanboys whining about yet another thing they wanted but didn't get.

You'll get the pictures of the complete suit when they're going to shoot with it outdoors, when they see fit and when the hype starts to die down.

Spin it all you like. You said you'd sacrifice storytelling for a goddamn cowl. I'll take story, please.

Hmmm, I seem to remember her having long gloves as well...at least I thought they were noticeable in the subsequent spy pics.

So...what do you think about the photo itself, then?

And, makes sense. Two-Face was supposed to be a sort of twist in the movie.
