Right click, savedWhat if, and I mean what if, the ratings for the 5th season get increasingly better (for whatever reason)?
They could do what they did for Supernatural and start a new arc. The Supernatural writers almost pulled it off, so I think the Fringe writers would have little problem doing so.
Or how about a spin-off?
The Mis-Adventures of Walter andAstroAsteroidAstrid!!!
I want this show to have a definite end date like Lost had. It makes it easier when the writers know how many episodes they have left to wrap up the story. It gives them direction, and something to work towards. Shows rarely benefit from going on and on. Fringe has been good, and I want it to go out strong. Not die a protracted or sudden death. We got what we wanted: a shortened fifth season to end the show properly. Let's count our blessings and watch this show go out with a bang.
I really hope tonight's episode isn't the end of lincoln and the alternate universe. Lincoln quickly became my favorite character on the show and I found myself liking fauxlivia more than oliva. Even walternate became endearing in the end.
Fringe | Now that we are for sure getting a fifth (albeit final) season, here’s one face you might see pop up in the show’s forever twisty universe: Robin Williams. TV’s erstwhile Mork, who after a long string of big screen outings has in recent years guested on Law & Order: SVU, Louie and, coming up, Wilfred, says Fox’s sci-fi series is at the top of his list to visit next. “My god, Fringe would be amazing,” he told me at the Comedy Awards, where he was honored as a Stand-Up Icon. (Williams also is high on Homeland, though frankly we can only see his bearded self playing Mandy Patinkin’s twin brother.) In fact, the funny man is game to join a TV series on a full-time basis. “F—in’ A, yeah, I’d do it — if it was fun,” he said.
