Sci-Fi Fringe Thread - Part 2

That was an awesome opening sequence I'm really interested to find out why they enslaved the humans.

i was about to say psychs openings also.

i do love when they change the opening to fit the mood of the episode.

God, this episode looks and sounds perfect.

If we got some fifth season news tomorrow, it would be even better.

WOW! I am so excited to watch this episode. Just from what we've seen and the idea of the episode, I would love to see a spinoff show.

Man, I love this show!

I totally forgot Anna Torv had an accent. It surprised me there for a second.

Anyone watch American Idol on Wednesday

John Noble was in the crowd.

Awesome episode. I'll admit it, I teared up a bit at the end.

Peter will be working with his daughter and Walternate and Astrid to fight the observers which is awesome. What we will be seeing in the subsequent episodes is how it got to that point. If there is a season 5 I bet that is the one that takes place in the future.

THAT WASNT WALTERNATE WAS IT?

AND I HAVE NEVER BEEN SO ANGRY TO SEE THAT BAD ROBOT LOGO LOL

-DOOM :doom:

I don't think that was Walternate. They put the missing pieces back in Walter's brain, making him the way he used to be.

Awesome seeing Bell again. I wonder exactly what he did to Olivia to make Walter hate him so much...

ACTUALLY LAUGHED PRETTY HARD WHEN IT WAS REVEALED THAT WALTER CUT OFF BELL'S HAND LOL

-DOOM :doom:

such a good episode, we need a season 5 just to get the follow up episode to this one where they save the future.

so much hype, i want more of them in the future just antimattering buildings.

walter was kind of a dick, but thats expected because they replaced his missing brain parts and like nina said, he didnt like the person he was becoming and the person he was becoming a morally void person.

I believe it's been said this episode was essentially a lead-in to what season five will be, should we get one (I've knocked on wood so hard my knuckles are bleeding.... just give me the ****ing word, Fox! :cmad:). Pretty much guarantees to me that S5 will be off the hook, balls to the wall, crazy-ass stuff.

I doubt they'd jump ahead to the 2036 time period for an entire season.

Instead of a fight between 2 universes, perhaps will have a fight between the two points in time.

Being the vague present (anywhere from 2012 to 2036) and whenever the exact date of the Observers was, probably.

But speaking of the universes, I do wonder how the other side plays into the Observer conflict.

Wow. The possibilities that this show has are endless. Which is both a good thing (for creativity) and a bad thing (for rating/cancellation issues). Bravo.

This episode felt so sadly short. Too much fun for one episode!!!!!!!!! Why did they want Bell's hand?

we will find out next season....also what bell did to olivia.

The thing I really like about this future-set episode, over last season's finale, is that you really get a sense that this is what's to come. With the S3 finale, that future scenario was pretty much entirely erased by the episode's end. With this, not so much. Nothing happened that would cause our present timeline to avoid any of what happens down the road. It's like the writers are setting up this perfect swan song next season with the Observer threat. And please, Fox Gods, grant us that fifth season.

so it looks like olivia doesn't escape her fate. :(

awesome episode. wish the story continued next week.

I wonder if Season 5 will be Olivialess ? Unless the future some how warns the past about what happens to Olivia to save her

Olivia is fringe, no way she is gone for a season. they will save her.
