not looking good for a final season. looks like we are going to have to love these final 3 hours of tv.

I recall reading that either Jackson or John Noble said that [blackout]David Robert Jones plays a smaller role in the events of the finale than one would assume he would.[/blackout] Makes me wonder if [blackout]the Jones plot is resolved fairly quickly (perhaps by the Observers) before the Observers make themselves known to the world. Then the potential season five could be a split narrative between the building of the resistance in the present, right up until they amber themselves, and then the 2036 resistance, right after Walter, Peter and Astrid have been removed from the amber.[/blackout]
[blackout]But then there would be no Olivia in Season 5. Unless somehow the future warns the past about what happens to Olivia[/blackout]
"hasn't steered me wrong" and "usually correct" are contradictory.
Not necessarily. She supposedly dies in 2016. There could still be quite a bit of story to tell until they get to that point.

guy who knows a guy...who is very reputable is saying WB and FOX are having issues on money. Fox wants to air a 5th season. WB wants syndication rights and only syfy will be willing to pick them up.
its about money and WB wants it.
but i trust the source, hasnt steered me wrong yet and is usually correct. but believe me, as a fan of the show i want a final true season.

Just to be clear, are you suggesting they pull a Lost? Season 5 is set in 2036 and they flash back periodically to events leading to 2036? That could work well.
Essentially, yeah. Basically do what the show's been already doing with the two universes, but this time, do it with two time periods.
And I'm very curious to see the events surrounding Olivia's "death". I have a hard time believing Bell would intentionally bring harm to Olivia, so I wonder if there's more to it than that. I also have to wonder if they've found some sort of agreement with Nimoy to come back. That was a pretty big tease, I can't imagine they'd drop something like that on us without the intention to pay it off.

I wonder if they'll ever answer what's up with Belly's hand
I'm a bit sad for future Walter. With his brain restored he's become the person he didnt want to be
He's become the evil walternate we first saw in season 3 who still had his whole brain intact
and locked Olivia up.
BELLY, NOT BILLY
-DOOM
Billy is short for William which is his name. Belly just sounds stupid. I'll check the subtitles on previous season to confirm what Walter calls him just to be sure.
