Sci-Fi Fringe Thread - Part 2

Yes.

Because seasons 1-3 were not thrown away. Peter and Olivia remember it. And they still mostly happened, just different.

And as long as they explain Bell's motivation for being evil, which will probably happen next episode.

Not to mention that they've already used said memories to deal with altered versions of the same events in this timeline.

It seems like these two have such a blast working together.

Nimoy looks so much better outside of the show. On the show he looks like the Crypt Keeper.

How can we be sure that is the final scene? It wouldn't line up with the 2036 timeline, and we already know that is being revisited so its not going to be changed by past events.

I think he meant the final scene in the trailer.

Good Finale. I guess the rest of the show will be. Stop The Observers & something tells me that. The Observers are on Team Bell. Or Bell is on Team The Observers. Minus September. Which is how they knew how to stop September with that technology

LMAO, THAT WHOLE INTERROGATION WILL HAUNT MY DREAMS FOR AWHILE

-DOOM :doom:

It's been awhile since the show's done something really freaky like that. I approve.

Just caught the finale,I hate to say it but I thought that finale was very underwhelming.

They should have ended it with Walter shooting Olivia

Who knew that Red Head from Lost could do insane psychotic ***** pretty decently

That would still be underwhelming. The audience would know she survives thanks to Episode 19

That interrigation scene was freaky and quite cruel if you ask me

so i'm guessing september was referring to the gang in the other universe when he said they have to warn the others. "they are coming" is probably the observers that will take over.

I have to agree. Unfortunately, I think maybe at the time it was written, it had to possibly serve as a series finale, so they weren't able to set up a really good cliffhanger.

that is just some freaky, fooked-up chit...

how WAS she able to do that stuffs?!?...

and can you imagine the outtake bloopers for that scene?... they have GOT to include that in the dvd box set...

yeesh... VERY disturbing... :wow:

if the show was NOT renewed, they probably wouldn't have included that very last scene with Walter and the Observer, it could have made for a very proper and final series ender...

I'll bet that last scene was added after the show was renewed...

but then there would always be the 2036 story that would be left dangling... but with the series being renewed, and that last scene included, the 2036 storyline will be followed up properly...

and is it me, or does Leonard Nimoy's appearance look kind of... waxy-looking?... just some bad makeup?

Can't remember but did they air episode 19 before they announced the renewal or after?

good ending. I heard reports they filmed two endings. one for renewed and one as a final, ending of the series probably would have just been her telling peter shes pregnant. Because as it showed everything turned out better for everyone. fringe gets its own science division like the other side, their trusty leader becomes a general, Astrid is safe and alive, Olivia is no longer in danger nor does she have cortex in her system. Life keeps on moving like it should. But then out of nowhere the lone observer tells Walter,"hey, **** is just about to get real" so with that it leads to my next point.

The storyline for next season could be all about the 2036 observer war. have 4-5 episodes in this timeline, then they amber themselves then finish off the season with the fringe team defeating the observers in the future and call it a series.

They should have introduced the Observers as a threat much sooner,I just feel that 13 episodes for next season won't be enough to showcase the Observers as a big threat.
