The only troll here is your personality. You cannot handle another being having a different opinion to you? Be gone with you. Get back under your bridge.

I can handle differences of opinions just fine. You're the only one calling Tatum chubby and fat, when he clearly is neither. You're as bad as the poster who said Anne Hathway should have lost 30lbs more for Catwoman.

She most certainly is as bad.

Certainly there are fat actors because fat people exist, Duh. But this calling people who aren't fat fat is beyond disturbing.

He is chubby though. His neck is all kinds of wedge.

He fits into an Elsa dress nicely...

I watched Hateful 8 a few nights ago and Tatum wasn't bad as a non-hero/comedic type role and from the small amount he was on screen, I could see him doing an okay job as Gambit.

Since Gambit takes place in a modern setting, if Anna Paquin returned as Rogue in Gambit, my interest would be higher..

I surely hope that would happen. I don't know if a character like Bella Donna would sell more tickets for the film, but Rogue in a Gambit film probably will.

What drew me to DoFP was definitely the old cast returning.. I don't care much for the newer cast. Rogue was (yet again) given the shaft in DoFP so having her appear in Gambit would be awesome. She almost appeared in "The Wolverine" so this could be a possibility.

I still rogue was gonna be a plot device in the wolverine since he villain wanted to take Logan's healing power right and rogue could have been used for that

I don think characters are just there for the sake of being there

I've been watching Marvel's Jessica Jones on Netflix and I am so hooked. It's kinda like the Rogue we never got from Fox. Also she is so different in that show and that other silly comedy she's in. I really like her, though.

The older cast still draws a lot of people. They got this "X-Men vibe" more than the new cast. And like I already said this 100 x, Rogue (portrayed by Anna Paquin) would sell more tickets for the film!

I hadn't been around here in ages, so I'll come back to the neck topic (sorry). I had noticed his neck is the same width as his entire head, but that's not so much of a big deal, I think. About his body, I too, agree that he should slim down a bit, like someone else said, Gambit is toned but not ultra buff. That's why I think Taylor Kitsch's body and hair were perfect for Gambit.

Good question... most likely yeah but there's been 0 news about the development.

They got a new director not that long ago. I don't think that's zero news.

I heard they would start filming in March (not sure if its true), but there hasn't been any news about the cast since Lea Seydoux.

I think Deadpool's success just set the stage for another charismatic anti-hero like Gambit to come out. Hope Fox gives them the go!

Marvel is releasing Deadpool vs Gambit mini series this year.

Hopefully they turn it into a movie

I've just about given up on this film. I've never really embraced the idea of Tatum and just can't picture him as Gambit. That and the troubles this production has faced and the latest rumblings about no release date now, I just don't have much hope for Gambit at the moment.

This is me. :(

I am sure things will ramp up soon enough, the success of Deadpool if anything will encourage Fox to make more comic book movies and more X men movies. I think at the moment they are probably just getting everything in line.
