I swear I saw this in the Berserk manga's Band of the Hawk arc. One of the demons was doing this, except I think some of the victims were impaled on their swords and banners.

I wish they would go ahead and wrap up show Little finger's plot. Since Stannis didn't get him, maybe Royce or an Umber will.

I don't think we'll be getting Littlefinger's demise any time soon. They've spent so much time building him up that I see him as reaching the end game. It's more likely we'll lose one or both of the Boltons this season IMO. The Greyjoys and Freys can take their place as villains.

I think we can expect more Frey-Lannister than Frey alone. I imagine Kevan's going to want to strengthen the Lannister alliances as much as possible with the increased Tyrell presence in King's Landing. This could include sweeping Myrcella's death under the rug and giving Trystane his place on the small council. Since the Dornish and the Tyrells have that old border spat, it would be advantageous for the Lannisters to have the Dornish people down there to draw the Tyrell knights out of King's Landing.

they have really botched the freys. There should have been some in Winterfell last season.

Walder will probably only be in one episode, and possibly one scene lol

They could add more in the way of mysticism by having the warlocks of Qarth working with or for Euron. As a way of showing that the Lord Reaper, the First Storm and the Last, casts a wide net.

he needs some of that purple drink! "FOUL STUFF"

I really wish that they did the Ironborn storyline last year in place of the Dornish one (which was pointless). Oh well, better late than never I guess.

Also, I wonder what will happen to Daenerys now that the Dothraki horde has found her. Normally I'd expect them to take her in as a sex slave, but with Drogon, she's a force to be reckoned with, so they might bow down to her. Either way at this rate she's never going reach Westeros, and honestly I kind of expect her not to.

drogon is beat to hell and useless right now though... so shes not much of a force

and they just ignored the other dragons existed and left them locked in the basement like cyclops ginger children.

I was honestly expecting him to kick the bucket in the finale, given the way it had all been going up to that point.

Can't wait for Ramsay and half a dozen ninja warriors to inexplicably defeat Jon Snow's entire army!

Pfft Ramsay couldn't defeat the resurrected offspring of a Targ and a Stark with a giant for a friend. I'd like to see him try tho.

Ramsay: "I'll flay the skin from your body!"

Jon: "Wun Wun smash".

Appropriate picture since he seems to be in the process of reeking someone in that pic.

Plot armor for the sake of shock value can overcome anything. :o

Even though it would have been superfluous, I wish they had filmed the material with the original Reek. It could have been a dark mirror to the buddy comedy angle Tyrion and Bronn had...

Inner monologue is tough to put on screen without it being 'Dexter' lol... i agree though.. the darkness that was winterfell and Reeks inner monologue are amazing chapters to read.

The atmosphere in the North during ADWD was just fantastic. Eerie, haunting, dark...and they actually captured a smidge of it during Ramsay's wedding ceremony. That was perfect, and I wish they had maintained it throughout the Winterfell scenes.

yea the wedding atmosphere was great... i didnt see much 'sunlight' in the books... it was always nothing but torch and candle light... they didnt really emphasize how bad the weather gets... like the gate has 4 inches of ice that has to be smashed every time they want to leave.

They really missed an opportunity to show the setting with the 'ghost of winterfell' killer.

and add to that the discomfort between houses wasn't present at all...

they didn't give reek his proper outfit and injuries either. I kind of thought it might mean he was to be tortured again at some point last season because they constantly showed focus on his hands.

The robb stark outfit at the wedding should have been addressed too... not many people realize how ****ed up that is.

Ramsay's armor in the books was pretty cool. It looked like skeletal muscle.
