I don't understand why they didn't just go with Victarion instead of Euron, seeing as they're seemingly going for the stereotypical, dick joke-spewing pirate, with no intention of delving into the latter's mysticism.
Even Victarion would have gotten the short end of the stick I'd think. Then there's the show's depiction of Aeron.
Who is depicted here as basically being a standard Drowned Priest who blindly follows Euron's command, seems unconcerned about the open admission of kinslaying and has hardly any characterisation at all indicating he's family to Euron, Theon or Yara. He got it worse than Areo Hotah.
If they didn't want to get into the Ironborn story then they should have just left it alone like they did with the Golden Company/Young Griff plotline.
